[QUOTE="swamprat_basic"][QUOTE="geaux321"][QUOTE="swamprat_basic"]The Big East is too even for its own good. It is hard for any specific team to dominate, because the teams are more evenly matched than in any other major conference.
The conference doesn't really attract the star recruits that make the big schools great, because the recruits want to play on a team where they can shine.

Have you seen the SEC East standings. Go take a look and get back to me. You can look at the West as well, Ole Miss is the only one who is way out of it.
And? I'm not making my judgements based on a single season.
You haven't watched the best that college football has to offer then. The Big East is just a bunch of mediocre teams battling it out. I find it hard to find most of those games because of the lack of defense.
What are you talking about? Did I ever say that I haven't seen SEC teams play before? The Big East is the only conference where major upsets are a regular occurence. That should be the way that the whole NCAA works, but it doesn't. The way that the system is geared toward sending people to the pros makes it so that star recruits have to go to teams that are all ready good. Not just that, they have to go to teams that are going to kick other teams' asses, because otherwise they won't be noticed.
