So your argument is PC dedicated servers aren't free because someone other than yourself is paying for it. PS3 servers however are free, because someone other than yourself is paying for it :?

PandaBear86

Theres a difference between a fellow customer paying for it, and the developer paying for it.

No there isn't.

I mean really now. How is somebody seriously going to look at that trailer and say, "Yes, this will make people want to buy our game. I'm glad I paid someone money to make this thing," and then release it to the public?

It made no sense. Who are these people? Why are men in full plate armor getting dispatched with an audible ho slap? Why would you name your game "Two Worlds Two"? That whole thing was just embarassing.

Daggerfall is obviously the best game ever, considering it's essentially the best that Morrowind and Oblivion have to offer, only ten thousand times more of it.

Sales don't mean anything to the gamer, especially the gamer on system wars.

Besides, the PC wins this gen because of the sheer mountains of AAE's and AAAE's. I think there's almost 100 now.

Uniformly positive, some slight issues. 9.0?

I played the hell out of Oblivion, modded the hell out of it, too. Fallout 3 was even better.

I'm pretty sure they said they were making another Elder Scrolls game a while back.

"You just can't get the publisher budget to ever [use] an orchestra in London, and then go and record at Abbey Road and get the best voice actors if you're only going to release on the PC"

Just a thought: maybe don't blow all your money on the London Symphony Orchestra? Maybe also hire some GOOD voice actors instead of just famous ones? Like how Patrick Stewart was in Oblivion for like 5 minutes? Maybe Bethesda could have not paid him a gazillion dollars for a days worth of work, and maybe hired a hobo for twenty bucks/a sandwich?

PC games don't have the advantage of massive advertising campaigns like console games do, but I still think that developers can easily trim some fat off these so-called "rising development costs."
