Wow! I am totally blown away after watching the Spec Ops:The Line trailer featuring "Rooster" by Alice In Chains. Game is looking highly detailed and should be alot of great co op fun. I am totally digging the desert setting in a war torn Dubai. I hope Yager takes their time on developing this game and maybe we will have another great shooter in 2011. I would love to hear more opinions of this trailer and if you liked it as much as I did send me a message on PS3 and maybe we can hook up for a game of Uncharted 2 and kill the time until Spec Ops hits store shelves. My PSN handle is NewfieBullit

After owning UFC Undisputed 2009 and being severly dissapointed by the horendous lag of multiplayer I was hoping for much better in the new game. I just bought the game and was avoiding the mp but I finally tried out my first online match tonight. Guess what? LAG again. I cannot play this game with lag. I couldn't even cover my face from the punches in time to block. I would hit my button and wait about a half second or more before the action proceeded. If there was one type of game on any platform that can be crippling with lag it would have to be fighting games.

Not only is the lag bad but unfortunately when I do try out mp my opponents always pick the same fighters. It would be nice to see a person actually use someone other than Brock Lesnar, GSP, BJ Penn, Anderson Silva etc. I love this game but I will not be returning to the multiplayer just to be constantly taken to the ground and then lag tagged with punches!

Well, Sorry PS3 fanboys but it came out yesterday on Xbox 360 too. I own a PS3 but the demo wasn't up on PSN when I checked last. As far as the game is concerned I think its far better than the first game. I loved the visual style and the movie like video panning while running and in cinematics. The mulitplayer was a blast too when I finally managed to get into a game!

I was playing the K&L2 Dog Days demo earlier today and I came to a section of the enviroment where there is a fence line and you are prompted to jump over. Once on the other side I could see a bunch of weapons on the ground but no clear path to the next section of the campaign. In this area most of the ground was actually invisible and the buildings were just hovering in blank space. I tried restarting the checkpoint and it was still the same. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this in their playthrough of the demo.

I realize it is justa demo and that bugs may be present so I won't complain. I was just dissapointed I couldn't go any further cause the game seems really good so far. I would like to talk about the multiplayer portion but I was unsuccessfull in attaining a match after several tries. I just sat in the lobby and couldn't find people to play. Anyone else having trouble finding a match?

Anyhow, I just want to say kudos thus far to IO Interactive. This game seems like it will be far better than its predecessor. Thanks to the demo, I might be tempted to buy this game now!

I think they should fake Carmines death early in the 3rd game and then bring him back towards the end as he saves Marcus life. Then during the cut scene he starts to remove his helmet and gets sniped just before we get to see the face. I think that would be so cool! Let me know what you think?

I am just wondering if the new Xbox 360 consoles are backward compatible. I have a great collection of old Xbox games that are compatible with my current Xbox 360 that I would like to play in the future. So, if anyone out there has a new Xbox 360 and could answer this question for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I prefer less ranks. I wish shooters would go back to being about wins and the pure fun of it. Lately everything has turned into achievement this or achievement that. FPS games are turning into a bunch of score whoring matches where its all about K/D ratios, hit percentage and ranks. I really could care less for all that BS. I just want to play and have fun. Thats one thing I did like about MOH...its fun. It doesn't take itself too seriously and try to be ultra realistic with recoil and stuff. The rounds play out fairly fast and I like how you don't need a boat load of bullits to take someone down. After all this isn't Halo! Pretty good beta, I just can't wait to play more of it.

I just finished playing the trial demo on xbla and I have to say this is the coolest game I have played in a very long time. I love the creepy b&w artistic stylization and simple play mechanics. I think this might end up as xbla game of the year. All I need now are some MS points so I can download this and give you my final impression. Try it out people, you won't regret it.

I hope the game looks as good as the screenshots. This game is shaping up to be the "IT" game of 2011 and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Well whiteknight, I don't have a problem paying for xbox Live. For the most part you get a very good service and the intergration is second to none. Sorry, but the PSN still doesn't compare in my opinion. I don' t know why people complain so much over Live when it costs so much more to enjoy other things in life such as cable, internet, cell phone plans etc. At least Live is a one time yearly fee and not a monthly subscription.

My complaint is that Microsoft should add other alternative features or programs to its users outside the US who can't get the same stuff. It could be a free game from Xbox Live arcade, or content from radio and tv that is native to the countries origin.

I just feel like we the Canadian fans are getting shafted.

XaosII

Because on the PC and PS3 online gaming is free. Hell, even Games for Windows Live turned free. Why should you have to pay for it on the 360 regardless of how miniscule you consider the cost?

Anyways, you start to tread into problematic territory. WHat can they do for Canadian players to make up for it? Find comparable services? Maybe...But then imagine if they had to do so for everyr european country. Where could they find the Netflix equivalent of, say, Portugal? Thats gonna be horribly messy and complicated to reach feature parity with 20+ european countries.

And if its something Microsoft makes or provides then US members can easily say "well, why dont we get it? Its not gonna cost MS anything to give it to us!" And they would be correct. Even if the answer is "Because we dont get the samme stuff you do!" Its, well, not a very good argument as to why not give it to Americans. Even free XBL games is problematic as the free games may not appeal to everyone's taste. Even if they just provided free MS points, theres no guarantee everyone will use it.

Im not saying "deal with it" but the reality is that is rather complicated from MS's perspective to provide equivalent value. Your expectations may just be too high.

I can see some of your points and I know it is not always easy for companies like Microsoft to deal with licensing, game ratings etc. One simple solution is to reduce pricing for each respective country based on services offered. If we get less services than our US neighbors maybe we should play less to. No different than buying a car. You can go to the dealership and get one fully loaded and I can have the base model with several less features, but I will pay alot less. Oh well, guess being Canadians we just have to suck it up and take the rip off!
