Lucas arts are using Havoks physics engine, nothing new there, Euphria which is much simpler than you think but its the DMM tech which is the big deal. It makes things feel solid, and act as they should. Thats the important piece of tech and Ive got a feeling GTA4 wont use that.
Rockstar has already made a game for the 360, their engine was there ready to go, they had to start from scratch for the PS3 version so obvious its going to take longer.
Once I know for sure what content is coming for what system as well as if the PS3's technological advantages are taken advantage of, then I'll decide which system to pick it up for. I'm sticking to the April 25 release until I hear otherwise.

Rockstar has a secret PS3 only project designed around the idea of using BD and the Cell etc as best they can so at least one of the GTA4 titles should be pretty bloody good in using it.
There is a new trailer due soon which will be done using the PS3 version so dev all round is pretty close to the end so there shoulnt be any more delays.
Haze has been very much a weird project. Next to no word on it, very little gameplay shown, no times or dates that were solid. Its very much a mystery. Anything could happen with it from being AAA on all platforms to being canned.
