Seriously, both Microsoft and Sony made their machines for one reason, to make money. No matter how much they say 'We make our consoles for you all to enjoy' yeah sure. Im sure the local gamestores say 'We sell games for you all to enjoy', it's all for money. It just so happens that the 360 was released a little too early before it was fully tested. However, i can't wait to laugh at Sony when people find a fault in their console. The 360 may have it's RRoD, but your telling me that Sony can make a fully working top graphical machine and Microsoft cant? Some kind of fault will be found with the PS3.meconate
You're missing the point and apparently putting your fingers in your ears and screaming LALALALA. MS makes its money by taking over markets, they spend billions on products aimed at forcing others out, and once theyve got it to themselves thats when they make cash from it. Sony and Nintendo however are making money from selling the consoles/games, thats their goal not to control the market. Also, as mentioned a thousand times MS rushed the 360 to beat Sony to the gate, add that to their famous bug tolerance policy and its a problem just waiting to happen. Sony waited till everything was ready, will there be issues? Sure, they'll have some duds here and there but thats from wear and tear and general error rates, not a scandel of the likes of the 360.

I dont get why people inn here get so fanatical about which is better, xbox or ps3. Its already been past ridiculous with the whole fan-boyism. At the end of the day, its all about enjoying games, on whatever platform they are, why should i care if microsoft or sony make more bucks???

While Sony and Nintendo are in the business to make cash, MS is in the business to take over the market. You can see why people might not be so fond with the last bit.
Lets just say I know a friend who knows a friend, but Sony is definitely working on a Wiimote like controller for the PS3, an early prototype they are working on looks like the the Wii's nunchuck attachment controller, the one with the anolog stick on top, only Sony's is longer and is more like a rod, and where the analog stick is located, Sony's will have its four x,o,Triangle, square buttons and not really sure but it looked like it had an additional button on the side as well, it didn't have any cords hanging from it so im guessing its going to be wireless, and most likely motion sensitive. What will they use this for? don't know. Why do I share this with the world???? I just want to rain on their parade, and also why do companies always have to be so secretive about everything? You might not believe me now but just keep this in mind so that when they introduce it, it will be yesterdays news. buahahaha.DeathZero360

Bill gates didn't invent the xbox a group of ppl that work for him would of. I think the only thing that he invented was computer software which made him rich and anyway he will not be out of the picture he will still be watching where his money is goingPump_man44
No he didnt make any of the software which made him rich. He made some cash with basic, then used it to con a guy into giving him his software. That software was MSDOS. They then ripped off the UI concept from several companies (not as Pirates of silicon valley protrays) and then hard coded it to randomly crash on other companies software thus making theirs the only one which would work. Then they worked with IBM on the OS/2 project, took a sample of the code midway through and made Win95 from it. MS is not to be trusted.
