is there suppose to be any differece in the two? considering the 360 versionis comin out a few months from nowdeadFalling
The 360 version was to have less maps, possibly lose user content support and also lacks the Gamespy functions which the PC and PS3 ones have. The user content support is down to MS allowing epic to give away free content, and we all know how MS feels about giving.

yes, you can plug an ipod in (among others) however it wont see anything by default you have to tell it to find it by using triangle or something, that'll make the tunes show up.

Did you give it your ISPs DNS or are you using DHCP, because if you're not then thats the issue. Also make sure the console is in DMZ.

I dont know why people keep talking about UT3 in this thread, UT3 doesnt use PSN, it uses the Gamespy network.

Ethernet provides upto a 1gigabit link, wifi (G for most) provides only 54mbps link. Also no N isnt faster than Ethernet. Ethernet uses a shielded cable and thus sends its data in a controlled environment allowing for maximum data transfer with minimum packet loss and delay, wifi sends its signal through anything you have in the way and will confict with any signal in its range including with bluetooth and other wifi appliances which means high packet loss and extended latency. Ethernet is always the best option.

i still get way too much lag to even have UT3 playable, where are these dedicated servers you refer to?americahellyeah
I said many, not all. Tho UT3 does indeed have some dedicated ones hosted by Epic themselves.

There is nothing that LIVE has that PSN lacks. Many PS3 games dont even use PSN they use their own solution, like UT3 for example. And the stuff about lag is a total lie. LIVE is more prone to lag as its based on private hosts while on the PS3 many games have dedicated servers, and in countries like Ozy and NZ where the net service quality is totaly crap then dedicated wins every time.

There are 2 types. Cat1 and Cat2. The higher the Cat the higher the cable is rated for protection from signal degradation. Idealy you want to use Cat1 (the cheap cables) on old HDMI 1.2 devices, and Cat2 on HDMI 1.3 devices (TVs with 14bit colour, or 7.1 surround sound setups).
