I just don't see any benefits when compared to what we got in XP now. Why is XP worse then this so called Gaming OS?
By the way, I think ATI is now part of AMD.

XP is one of the slowest operating systems on the planet. The amount of memory and processor time it wastes on itself is enormous. Vistas even worse.

Its core content is free, but you can buy additional things if you want. It'll take up about 500megs of space on your HD.

EVE is now on steam with a 3week trial or something, easily the best priced big MMO today.

An alliance against Microsoft isn't going to happen, Windows is the most popular OS. More people using OS = more potential buyers and more money.

Not even close, R&C and R2 are using vastly more optimized engines.

why isnt any of Ps3 titles getting a price drop? i am waiting for games like Lair, Heavenly sword, Folklore etc....but all these games are still being sold for $59.90. The only game i found at a discount is Genji. joeychew

Prices will start going down across the board when the new platnium series launches globaly.

The DVD9 only holds maybe 20 gigs while the Blu-Ray is at the 50 gig range now and the target size is 200 gigs in the end.jimm895

1. The current spec of BD is 25gig for Single layer, 50gig for Dual. Thats it, there is no more to the specification nor is their higher capacity disks. 2. DVD9 holds around 8.4gigs. 3. MGS4 didn't fill the disk, it just doesn't have enough space for additional audio as was always the plan. If you fill a glass halfway up, you cant put a whole nother glass full of water in, still doesnt mean the original glass is full. 4. No the 360 doesn't use HDDVD disks for games. 5. 24bit 7.1 audio is massive, and while the data is considered uncompressed, that doesn't mean it isnt compressed (which Im not going to explain)
