Online gaming costs money and it's been this way since Xbox Live launched in 2002. No one complained back then so why complain now?
I find it ironic how you praise physical games then you mention PC, which is digital only.
I have a nice collection of disc games and digital games on my PS4, I'm not picky. For me digital content is more convenient, which is why I use Spotify instead of CD's, Kindle instead of physical books, and Google Play Movies/Netflix instead of DVD/Bluray. And Sony routinely has good sales on their store, pretty sure Xbox is the same way.
Is this going to be live like PSX, or pre-recorded like Nintendo Direct? I'd prefer pre-recorded actually.
Also, people say E3 is irrelevant, but do they think CES, Gamescom, TGS, and the International Auto Show are irrelevant as well? Companies use trade shows like these to showcase their new products.
@ronaldmcreagan: Frankly I don't care about rudimentary numbers like frames per second, polygon count, number of shaders, etc. It's all useless to me. If a game plays smoothly then it's good enough for me, and plenty of games run just fine under 60fps.
Hasn't this guy ever heard of first party games? The entire point of owning multiple consoles is for the first party games, especially if you go with Nintendo. They wouldn't have been nearly as successful if they didn't make their own games to sell their hardware.
