@Leir_Bag Nintendo, Capcom, Konami (Metal Gear Solid), etc. all prove that the Japanese publishers can still make good games. Capcom is the biggest Japanese publisher (next to Nintendo), and their games are very popular right now.
@ABEzilla116 Well some chick called Emily Rogers has been spreading rumors that Retro Studios is in financial trouble. According to Emily, a bunch of people have left the company.
I don't believe it, because Retro is 100% owned by Nintendo. If Retro was in trouble, Nintendo could bail them out.
@dRuGGeRnaUt Nintendo of America's PR department is clueless. They are completely oblivious to what other game publishers are doing.
I wish Nintendo of Japan was more strict on policing what NOA does (in terms of marketing). Iwata is a brilliant businessman, and it's a shame that he lets NOA fumble so much. Maybe the Japanese branch doesn't care what the American branch does and says?
