It's a shame that's about all there was to the games, timing...'Course I'm biased, I play games like Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, Freelancer and Torchlight 2, so anything that remotely resembles restriction sends me into a berserking rage.
I'm hoping the mechanics are solid, the presentation seems pretty good and it looks promising in general. And WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND wouldn't love the rating??? I have to sit down here, my head is spinning because there are good game options this week unlike the year up to!
Wow, that's what I'm talking about...A lineup of titles almost all of which I can get behind, and not JUST because they are not M-sludge! It's like a miniature Golden Age in the middle of this terrible Winter.
No, I think the penalty should be higher, NOT because I am a sadistic and embittered anti-corporation freak that wants to stick it to everyone that is not as lazy as myself and actually earns their wealth, but because they are actually at fault for the loss of personal information and so on and could have done more to prevent it...and yeah, I'm a bit bitter about their pricing and the no-second-hand games thing...
I ain't been practicing Tetris-oid games so, no, I suck at Tetris, but I have taken to a game that is puzzle-based which is QUITE A BIT more interesting and rewarding than Tetricality, that being Puzzle Kingdoms! Very nice, very recommend, very going to use it as an example of innovation among hybrids...It raises the bar.
I could think of a few hundred games I would rather play than a prison architecture sim, most of them not that good and some of which you might recognize as VERY BORING genres, such as social games and sports...
The visual presentation is doing nothing for this game in my opinion, I having worked with too many tools and editors that are too similar in my time...
