It's important to differentiate between layoffs because of waning console demand and layoffs due to waning interest in a stale genre. And, no, consoles are not going anywhere, especially when developers start demanding money for their time.

That shot of the structure is not doing the graphics engine of this game anything in the way of good repute...Not that I am all that excited about this game...
I really want Nintendo to keep going. I am just glad that they were the first to slam us with 3D. Fact is we all need some de-maturation or at least some healthy alternatives to that...stuff...that is coming down the pipes for PC and so on.
Well, 'appropriate' is definitely a misrepresentation, no doubts there, but either way I am just glad that Post-Apocalypse scenarios are so remote in likelihood.
Hopefully it's as good as the auspicious project name promises, as if we could hope for a relevant and present adaptation of modular/random elements from professional game developers...Why that must be I am not sure, why it is I disdain.
