Between digital downloads and buying used games online, I don't have much reason to put up with the bloated prices, low inventory, cramped aisles, and disorganized shelves at GameStop. After one of their DMs took my pre-ordered PS4 and XONE consoles and sold them to another store, I was done with them.
@derekscorp: I was just thinking how much I hate the "next article autoload" that happens when you scroll to the bottom fourth of a page. It makes it hard to find the comments button and has the content leaping all over the place.
This site's design has taken a nose-dive in usability. There's too much emphasis on videos and too little emphasis on writing.
Ultimately, if Microsoft just allows their XBOX ONE games to use the same gaming protocols as the PC games do (i.e. present themselves online as PC games) then how will Sony be able to stop their customers from engaging in cross-platform play with Microsoft's customers?
@Kezzy123: You're perhaps the only person I've seen who understands the hardware / software split between Sony and Microsoft. Sony makes fine products, but they couldn't engineer themselves out of a digital paper bag. Software is Microsoft's bread and butter, and it shows.
@o311rocks: People that don't waste their time watching TV probably don't waste their time commenting on the quality of shows they've never watched either.
Wow, they didn't even try to pretend that there was a videogame-related angle to this story. This was just a straight-up promotion for a new CBS TV show.
PS -- I'm not upset for seeing this, as I suspect there's good overlap between the communities of gamers and comic book fans (including me) but this effort was rather blatant.
