Its obvious isn't it? When Pokemon Online comes out. However, only if it is not developed by Nintendo >__>.Candy-Star

Dude i know, will they just hurry up and make it already.

It seriously has the potential to be the biggest MMO of all time, and I have never said that about any of the 'WoW killers' that have come and gone.

Using another game's assets in a mod is ILLEGAL (this is why some of the projects like Oblivion: Cryengine 2, and Halo: Cryengine 2 were stopped). You'd have to manually re-create everything. That's one of the reasons I love the modders, cause they bother spending their time doing all of that just for us.

P.S: Actually there have been plenty of mods like that, but for other games.

Yes but fortunately the loop hole would be that they are just making a Roman mod for Empire... not Rome TW 2.0 and at the same time omggggg Oblivion in cryengine 2 sounds sooooo freaking awesome.

Anyways I think people tried this for Medieval 2 and I think in a way it would be a lot easier to do it with Medieval 2 because the melee combat is something that's quite awkward in Empire, where as Med2 would have all the animations you'd need minus a few.

From what I've seen the scale looks cut back a bit... They have done a clever job at making the maps look epic and big while they're actually smaller.

I do welcome the inclusion of proper cities though, it always seemed a bit too convenient that armies marched out into the middle of no where to do battle.

if it uses the same basic Rock, Paper, Scissors, mechanic as the first game I wont have much fun with it.

Zemus

Do you like/play RTS games at all? Because SupCom did the best job at trying to get away from rock paper scissors.

Actually, start with a Paradox game, like Europa Universalis. Then come back to Total War.

One of two things will happen:

1. You will gain a profound appreciation of the streamlined, action-packed nature of the series.

2. You will be taken aback at and eventually be frustrated by the greatly simplified diplomatic and economic options.

3. You'll give up on Europa Universalis and wish you had bought Total War instead.

[QUOTE="the_mitch28"]

I would have no problem going to back to COD4.......... if it had all the unlocks that MW2 does.

zomglolcats

Yeah the unlocks seem to be the greatest thing about MW2. But I haven't played it so I can't really comment.

It actually is lol, they're very addicting.

Also I'm a little curious about this lvl70 ak-47

I don't really mind that much but my biggest gripe is that IWnet isn't consistant like dedicated servers.

There are times where I just get the worst runs and it can be infuriating... but i'm that this doesn't happen that often at all. Also it would seem that the PC version is better at putting people from the same region in games together.

On the AU boards PS3 and 360 gamers are complaining about constantly being matched up with people in the US and EU to the point where they all have to party up.

i didn't know there were such things as gaming keyboards. :o they all seem pretty much the same to me. How do they affect your ability to play a game? All you're doing is pushing buttons, it's not like it can be more accurate or something...SF_KiLLaMaN

Good gaming keyboards reduce the response time from the keyboard to computer to game, it's called controller lag. Also standard keyboards usually have a limit to how many keys you can press at the same time before it just won't register... Gaming keyboards allow for a lot more simultaneous inputs.

Then there's the macros system etc, my keyboard allows me to have like 7 different profiles so I could set my layout for 7 different games.

yeah ground war is a **** if you don't find one in progress/intermission, people are so impatient it's ridiculous if everyone didn't leave after 5 seconds of waiting it would be easy to fill games.
