Unless you're not working, then I don't see a problem with being a PC gamer. I find being a console gamer to be more expensive in the long run because the games are so expensive. While with PC games, the price drops very often. Yes, even for major titles. And there's usually a deal for pre-orders so you don't have to spend more than $40-50 for a brand new, major title. You could make minimum wage and afford to build your own gaming PC.

Parts cost double what they do in America but the minimum wage is also about double ;)
