Obviously, PCs are far more useful in other ways, but for gaming a console just makes more sense. You don't have to worry about the 1 million possible things that can go wrong when trying to play a game, and the games on consoles are just higher quality.

It's not the 90s anymore, those days are over.

If you buy decent parts from good manufacturers (intel, AMD, nvidia, gigabyte, asus etc) then games will install and play without a hitch.

I don't blame you though, that is a common missconception.

It's ok. Just another unstable box of hardware as far as I'm concerned though.

If you take care of them and aren't silly, PC's are a lot more dependible than consoles.. which have a tendancy to stop working all on their own.

At least in my gaming experience I've had more console hardware failures than PC hardware failures (5 to 0).

Well explain why the 360 controller is better (not the comfort reason because that is fully subjective.) NOw beyond comfort please give other reasons.

now when comparing the technical aspects of the two controllers:

USB charging > AA batteries (who would disagree)

Six-axis > no six-axis (who would disagree...and people who say six axis is a gimick? well try using it with warhawk, it works like a charm)

How big's the download?

I was worried.

Then I read that everyone who had actually used it said it was fine if not better than the traditional way. Plus to hear that there's a party system is great! That's the one thing I dislike about dedicated servers usually.

Good to see they're brave enough to shake it up, server browsers are fine but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

And yet it's too small and hurts my hands after more than an hour of play. It also lacks decent triggers.

After GT5 I'd be more inclined to sell my PS3.

I play my PC mostly anyway, so waiting for games on the 360 is no issue for me.

I even started to become a Battlefield fanboy and jump on the CoD hate bandwagon.....until I actually played the game. Infact, I bought Bad Company just to prepare myself for Battlefield 3.
