Just get Source if you're new to CS. 1.6 is a very off putting game at first and one that's hard to get into, there's a good chance you'll regret purchasing it if you're new to CS.

Are the issues with the PC version Hardware related.
I have:
Intel Core i7 920, 6 GB RAM, and a ATI Radeon HD 4850 512mb
I fear that this hardware will not be able to handle the game.

I have a similar computer:
i7 930, 6gb RAM and a 1GB 9800GTX+
The game runs fine for me.
Unless Kinect is a LOT more precise and intuitive than I think it is, I have trouble seeing it being particularly good for conventional gaming.Tylendal
It's kinda obvious that it's not for conventional gaming....

It would actually have to be the best FPS on the market to get displaced.... so no.
To answer your question properly: no MoH and/or CoD7 will not displace Counter-Strike: Source as the best FPS on the market.

BC 2 players and CSS players had in most of times nothing in common. Extremely different tastes and game mechanics separates these two games. And you can argue that you like the more one or other, but in matter of additions and innovations BC 2 is above the Valve game.
Whats that got to do with anything? I was simply stating that BC2 isn't top of the PC market so "displacing" it is meaningless, however taking out the current top of the FPS hill on the PC (CSS), probably won't happen.
Also what's this innovation you speak of? I see none. I can find bucket loads of games like BC2... but not many like CS at all. Even within the battlefield series BC2 takes a lot of steps back from previous BF games (innovation at its finest).
Right now, the only FPS I play is Bad Company 2, and I really must say that it's the best I've ever played. With these two new highly anticipated shooters, will either displace BC2 as the best FPS on the market?

Black Ops is nothing but a Arena Shooter. You can't go blow up walls, you can camp endlessly in a tight corner, wind doesnt effect your aim, gravity doesnt effect your aim, there are no vehicles in multiplayer, the list goes on and on....
Its always hard to convince people that BC2 and Battlefield is so much more better than Mordernwarfake, they've been sucked in by the media and refuse to play anything other than Call of Duty...

Yes maybe it's because people don't like wandering around in huge maps with pace breaking vehicles driving around everywhere and silly scout snipers hiding on cliffs behind bushes across the map sniping everybody.
It's hard to convince people because slow sluggish games with horrible hit detection like Bad Company 2 are no substitute for a focused, skill based, fast paced shooter.
Also: "you can camp endlessly in a tight corner"- that's only a problem if you're horrid, for anybody else it's an easy kill :)
