Yeah day 1 for me, ever since I saw they actually made the battles interesting.

99% of your exclusives are RTS, MMOs, and Indie games (nothing wrong with those games but you can't call that diverse)

I'm not a hater I love PC gaming, but I just don't think the lineup is that diverse.
It's easily the most diverse platform.... by like a lot.
[QUOTE="the_mitch28"][QUOTE="themagicbum9720"] thank you. i bet almost no one in here has ever played tf2 competitively. topping a pub scoreboard means nothing at all considering almost all of the players in the server suck. if you think you're so good in pubs, go to ammomod. some of the best demos and soldiers play there. or play a scrim in tf.pug.na and you'll realize how bad you really are. counter strike is too easy for me.CaptainAhab13
Most people probably don't play TF2 competitively because the idea of doing so is such a joke and quite a hilarious one at that. Like those people who have clans and scrim in L4D versus...
Lets watch a competent TF2 player who's barely played CS come across and dominate a CS pub... be realistic. Funny how it only works one way :)
Let's watch a competent CS player who's barely played TF2 come across and dominate a TF2 pub... be realistic. Funny how it works both ways. :)Basically any good CS player can dominate TF2 pub once they get their bearings, on the flip side it would take a TF2 player months to become good enough to even rate in a pub game of CS.
[QUOTE="succulent_toes"][QUOTE="the_mitch28"]CS and TF2 is like PC and Mac. One's casual and nub friendly, the other isn't.themagicbum9720
tf2 may be "casual and nub friendly", but that's irrelevant at the comp level. it takes just as much skill to be competitive at tf2 as cs. people who think tf2 is an easy game should stop playing on pub servers and try playing it competitively.

They're both dying but it's more of an annoyance in MW2 because of the P2P. In BC2 you can still find populated servers easily, in MW2 you have to hope it finds a game with good ping thanks in no small part to the DLC's breaking up the community.
I just noticed that R.U.S.E (the steam release at least) doesn't have Ubisofts perma online DRM... wonder if it's going to be like this for all their future releases.
Eh you should be playing as the Predator not the humans, seeing as that's what makes Crysis (the earlier parts at least) so much fun.
Quick buy CS before the TF2ers notice this thread.
They'll say comforting things like "casual", "noob friendly", "easy to get into" and "hats". It'll all sound very convincing but really they just want you to stay noob forever in a game that will never enhance your skills as an FPS player.
Stick with CS (30 mins a day or 300) and it will make you good at every other FPS game you choose to play.
