I don't play SWAT 4 but it sounds like you're using a different version of the map to the one on the server. Try looking online to see if there is a later version of the map.

Sweet, didn't know GT5 was featuring Adobe's liquefy tool crash damage.
At any rate GT5 fanboys are showing their true colors and ignorance about racing games in this thread (I suppose because this is all new to them). People don't like Forza's crash damage because like "omg its saaa kewl 2 smesh up teh carz n plae demolishan derbie." No, they like it because each bump and crash affects your aerodynamics, engine, wheel alignment, suspension, transmission and brakes.
Damage modeling is cool for the first 5 minutes of a game but in terms of an actual racing game it's the effects of crashing that make for a more enjoyable race, like actually having to use your head while racing instead of wall riding and using other cars as brake walls.... those types of things.

watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajtw356Ct3I
and its been known for ages now that GTS will have mechanical damage. some just choose to ignore the facts.
Er yeah I did and I didn't see anything more impressive than people who go head on in Forza. So what was your point?

Who cares about server files, the main problem is this one company with only 18 location world wide will be doing all the hosting. If they had of done this like BC2 where they still let other server companies host servers it would of been fine.. but this is just crap. Worse than IWnet.
Baranga
You haven't read the OP. It clearly says that company is adding new locations and hiring staff, and everyone can suggest server locations.
Being European I'm happy with the current locations.
Yes I have thanks, good for you being in Europe as well.
I'm not content with them having one location servicing a big chunk of the pacific.. and I'm not convinced that they will be able to meet expectations in my region not to mention that I don't like this monopoly in the slightest, having a company that can charge whatever it wants for whatever service it thinks is acceptable is never a good thing.
Ultimately this will ensure the premature death of Black Ops.

What about the dedicated server monopoly for Black Ops?
mkaliaz
Hah, true, but is anyone really suprised here. I got to hand it to Activision. They not only built up the hype (and a lot of PC pre-orders) on the promise of dedicated servers only to end up having complete control on the servers themselves, plus make a ton of money on these server fees. They HAVE TO be getting some major kick backs from the monopoly server company. That company did not get this setup for free, i promise you that. Its a win-win-win situation for Activision.
Yeah the problem is this company is pathetic where I live, they have like 10 servers spread across 5 games and they only host out of one state. Why wouldn't Activision at least sign different server companies specific to region? Because here all the large popular server companies are owned/run by internet providers.
