Yeah, but it seems like they completely forgot it. I mean come on.... FF and KH is great, but how could they forget their Musashi and at least give him a proper sequel or acknowledgement. Well Musashi's response to all the FF and KH fanboys...

Sorry about the cosplaying fanboys... Musashi...

This game series is gold.

No no no don't call Sony, this is an easy fix.

Turn off your PS3, plug the controller in. Now, turn on your Ps3 without using the PS home button. Then, press the PS3 home button and turn the system off.

Now turn on your PS3 using the controller, now, it should continue flashing, press the home button again after 30 seconds, and it should never have the problem again, or at least it should work after some trial and error. It's only happened once, when I turned it off while playing a game using the PS3 controller, but that's just me.

Ok now you probably have never heard of Brave Fencer Musashi, but its a PSX from 1998, and it had voice acting. Which was pretty amazing for its time. It was a well thought out story, with collossal bosses, and I can't begin to name them off. You could absorb powers from enemies, it just had almost everything in it. It is just about one of the most epic games I've played, even rivaling the games today in terms of that.

However, there was a godawful sequel, which seemingly Tetsuya Nomura had no hand in this time. It wasn't Musashi, not even close to the old one.

Which is why I feel that, since Square seemingly plans more remakes and sequels, I think this series deserves a better look. This was very action oriented, and heck, if updated as a sequel or remake to Ps3 standards, even cell-shaded, I know it'll look great. I'm not so sure of selling though, in fact, forget cell shaded, it didn't work for the Ps2 version. In fact, keep it like the original, update them if need be.

The humor and absolute cheesiness while battling epic bosses and on an epic quest, was just a phenomenal experience. Especially when you compare it to the games we have now, 50cent rapper games ugh...

So what do you think? Should Musashi be given one more chance to take down the Thirstquencher Empire?

CNN Review

"You can -- virtually speaking, of course -- if you own a Microsoft Xbox 360 or Sony PlayStation 3, and the latest sports title from Sega. In fact, the new "Virtua Tennis 3" looks so realistic that TV passers-by might think it's a televised match"

"In the Xbox 360 version, the one played for this review, you also can engage in online matches with up to eight friends in cyberspace (via Xbox Live; $49.99 a year), but this option is curiously absent from the PlayStation 3 version. The PS3 version, however, offers "true" high-definition graphics (1080p support), though the Xbox 360 looks about as good."

Seems that our super-casual reviewer is scratching his head over why the PS3 didn't have online play, and also why "true" hd is not blowing away the competition.

Discuss, otherwise great game for both systems :)

how can you possibly argue against that fact? You cant. Ps3 is not worth the price its makers are asking. This system is merely a trojan horse in the new format wars, not a gaming machine.

According to you the price is not worth it. To some, it is, and to others it is a bargain.

key word being "some" people. Sony needs to lower the price so "some" turns into "most"

I was able to bite the bullet, and I'm dirt poor college student. So take from that what you can.

You must have really wanted one. Most people are opting for the cheaper systems with better games.

To be honest, when I decided to buy one that day I got lucky. It was in walmart, an ebayer brought one back (this was in feb), and it was only $550 for the 60Gb, a hella deal, and yes it was a launch (had talledega nights). The PS3 isn't selling that well since then, but hey, I didn't buy the console for that. As long as get to play the series' I like, no biggie.

Good for you. As long as you feel like you're getting your money's worth then what else is there to say. I'm glad the PS3 is working out for you. (I'm not trying to sound sarcastic)

Thanks. This doesn't mean I won't get a 360 one day (got lucky on both wii and ps3 so far). I'm just going to wait it out for now and see if MS decides to make a final built package or something with maybe some nice internal fixes for reliability.

[QUOTE="jack_russel"]same old arguments, same old damage control.AvinashTyagi

Really? I thought it was pretty well thought out.

Why are Wii and DS sales so High?

they're dirt cheap compared to the rest of the competition. anyway tc good job.

Then that's why the PS3 fails, because of its huge price, doesn't change the fact that its failing

Hm... I tend to remember the DS didn't fair so well in the beginning.
