Doesn't matter so much to me. I will just wait for Steam. I love Hitman games, owning...all of them, maybe? Could have skipped the original. The thing is I rarely play them and don't think I ever completed one. I missed every elusive target -- week by week. LOL
@ecurl143: This is where I was in the winter of 2013, when news of XB1 and PS4 began to leak. Maybe I was getting old and my priorities were changing. Perhaps more impactful, was having lived through so many generations. Launches used to be exciting in my youth -- I learned that feeling can only be repeated so many times.
Fatigue can set in when you've endured performance issues of consoles as long as you've enjoyed the games themselves. Pixelation, tiny color pallettes, flicker, and slow-down gave way to more modern issues like low/choppy framerates, ugly textures, and low poly counts.
The bright spots became fewer and fewer over time. There are still good and even great games, just nothing has the same impact. I've played mainly on PC over the last 10+ years (giving me control over performance and choice of input device & accuracy). I still buy consoles because I like tech, and maybe I'm a bit of a zombie of my former self, in that regard.
@mrbojangles25: You don't have to watch anything that doesn't interest you. However, if you and others don't watch the "good shows", and tons of people mooch off of others, I really don't know what you all expect to happen.
I've seen people post absurd things like, "Looks good, but I'm not watching until the series gets a planned ending -- not getting emotionally invested in something that is going to get cancelled." Guess what -- you just pledged to do your part to get the series cancelled.
@ukgamer51: Because CP2077 is a PC game. The publisher attempted to jam pack it onto consoles. It isn't going so well. PC players with lesser PCs will eventually upgrade. Console players will have to face reality and upgrade to PC or a "next-gen" console in 2021.
@amaneuvering: I just watched demo for MoH: A & B. The game looks like an interesting VR implementation of MoH. Not sure how it will turn out, ultimately.
I have an aversion to Oculus (more so the company and owners) so up to this point, I've avoided a purchase. Arguably, their sets are the best deal for the money. I have been leaning to Index or Vive, though recent events have lead me to put any such purchase on the backburner.
@bdrtfm: Sure, if you play games that are designed to play out like watching a movie. Those don't have replay value. Many games that focus on gameplay have new game+, like Sekiro. Absolutely worth going through a second time (many people do far more than that). Multiplayer games, fighting games, sports games (at least for a year) stay on the drive. Then add in niche games, DLC, demos...the data adds up quick.
@bone1264: Because it is kind of a pain in the ass. I picked a conservative group of games to transfer over to Series X, about 11 games (plus DLC). The estimate was ~635 GB. In one shot, the drive is closer to capacity than one would like on launch day. There are not even any launch day games to install. Maybe I'll buy Valhalla, but I'm leaning towards PC.
