@Pwnslaught: I don't care about what they do with Ellie -- I never liked her character, long before the DLC or the sequel trailer. However, I did try to protect her in the first game and let her maintain her childhood...then the game forced her to kill someone, and that went out the window. She's a rip-off of Ellen Page, both are miserable, so it's not a stretch that the writer made her bi or a lesbian. Funny that there's no trepidation being expressed over whether the so will be any good, or they'll sell a 5' 100 lbs. person fighting zombies and murderous marauding gangs.

The "agenda" the other guy is referring to, I imagine, is the push to stuff so many gay characters and gay love scenes into film and (cable/streaming) television as possible, in vain attempt to "normalize" it. It will never be normal, because it isn't.

No heterosexual man wants to see male-on-male love scenes. Ever. They're usually met with an audible and exasperated "WTF..." and fast forwarding of the media or shutting it down entirely. I don't know...at least I'm not aware of any straight male who feels differently. Is the hope that one day men will just sit there and watch like it's normal? Good luck with that. There are still heterosexual people that are offended by straight sex scenes.

@final_kaoss: The remake is episodic so I guess you get to control Red in the next episode. Whenever that is released...

@Wraith3: First run of KOTOR 2?

I wrapped up The Witcher last week (fired up a 4 year old saved game). Now I'm on Chapter 2 of the Witcher 2. From here forward I'm tackling the newest & best games in the backlog. Chronology be damned.

@mazuiface: MS makes more money from selling you a copy of Windows than they do from selling you any version of XBox.

@Pyrosa: D-pad were an issue. I found good a few good models (two different white, XBX, and Elite) and haven't had issues for years. The Elite D-pad is also pretty good. Haven't had stick drift issues since OG Xbox and PS2, maybe 360. My Elite is from the second week after release and besides the default stick rubber wearing down recently, the only issue is my nephew used it without permission and dropped it on the hardwood. Now it the trigger rumble has an annoying buzz/rattle.

No idea what you guys are doing to the rubber grip on these things.

@caiol92: Game development takes increasing greater resources & time, and engineers are expensive. Everybody in the company makes over $100k. A third party exclusively supporting one platform makes profitability elusive. So we have seen multi-platform releases skyrocket libraries converge. PC provides the best performance at each and every moment, at a cost.

@ButDuuude: What about the people who can't afford to buy Series X and launch titles at launch? The bulk of those people could buy the games or a subset, play them on Xbox One/S/X knowing when one eventually upgrades to Series X, the games will upgrade, too. Buy a cheaper Xbox model if you don't have one or a capable PC. No need to buy multiple versions. MS already does this between Xbox and PC.

@chippiez: Uh, you are doing what they want you to, then. You're still buying their games. You bought every Xbox including One and One X, sounds like. If you don't buy a Series X at launch, you'll likely buy one (a) year(s) down the road when it is cheaper and MS's profit margins are higher. Or you could buy MS games on the PC, where they profit from not only the game sale, but the Windows license -- a license that head to head generates more revenue than any console sale.

The reason they announced this is so less people stop buying Xbox One S/X this year, and to reassure the ones that did MS's new titles will be available to them.
