Well yeah I'd get a WiiU to explore the Wii catalog, I was just saying I can do both with the WiiU as well as play all the new games it comes out with, I was a little disappointed no sports games for WiiU though this year.. ;/

If you never tapped into the Wii library, then the Wii U would be a good choice. The Wii U's developing library that will take off starting this holiday, the Wii's vast array of great games (yes, behind alot of shovelware there are numerous gems) and the access to all the virtual console games in the Wii Shop. It's a great investment. But wait until the Sept.20 price drop.

Still a little confused about which to get Wii-U or PS3. I think the Wii-U seems like a better idea though for me.

yeah my current gaming pc consists of a GTX 690/i5 3570K/16GB DDR3. It's a hard one because I don't know if I'm going to really like the Wii-U but I have played the Wii before and it was fun. New experience altogether then the PS3. I have had both the PS3 and XBOX 360. Not a big fan at ALL of Halo or GoW, although GoW is OK. I am more of a Playstation guy, always have been. Owned like 2 PS3's already. I do want to play TLoU, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMiX, NHL 14, and some others though. Wii-U offers me more titles and a totally new experience. I'd probably get the Wii-U with WW HD, Zombi-U and something else. Tough decision though, I miss my sports games.

But yeah Wii games are pretty awesome, good library. I'd also get Resident Evil 4 Wii also, I heard the controls are awesome in it and I'm a big RE fan. I have Revelations on my PC and beat 6 on my old ps3.

I'm sure there's a bunch of games I can get fairly cheap for the original Nintendo Wii and play on Wii-U also, plus WW HD coming out soon. I could get the WW HD bundle?

The only thing on the PS3 aside from the game's I've already mention is Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix because I never really played the KH games and looks interesting.

#1 If were to get a Wii-U now I'd get the Windwaker HD Bundle with Res Evil 4 Wii Edition also, probably it for now, maybe get the new Luigi or Zombi-U, or maybe even Skyward Sword or Smash Bros Brawl.

#2 If I were to get a PS3 now I'd get the GTA V Bundle with NHL 14'' and The Last of Us, maybe even Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix. I have owned a PS3 before though and it would be kind of the same thing I sort of feel like.

#3 If I were to get a Nintendo 3DS I'd have the DS catalog to look into, I haven't played a Pokemon game in ages and used to love them, I'd play the very good Castlevania games that came out for it as well as Final Fantasy IV and others.

Just a hard call really. I like the PS3 or Wii-U choices the most, those two are good choices, ps3 has more games and classics I think. But the Wii-U is newer and will be out for longer and stay stronger for longer then the ps3 I think. It will offer me a different experience I think too. PS3 is more of the same I think honestly. I just don't know. There's more I WANT to play on the PS3 including sports games not available on Wii-U, but ZELDA is not available anywhere else!

Sounds like a pretty good idea actually. PS3 Bundle with GTA V for 269$ plus I can get NHL 14 or Madden 25, TLoU, and maybe some other PSN games or classics to tide me over aside from my PC gaming. Is there enough differentiation between PS3 and PC though. I just want enough games to play that will justify it, and the price of 269 is a lot better then $600 for an XB1. Even the Wii-U is only like $300 with Windwaker HD.

I said in my original post not looking for a next-gen right now, my next-gen is my PC. I'm not gonna throw out $500-600 bucks for a next-gen system that's hardware is less then my PC's for a few exclusives that will look better on my PC.

Well it's that or a Nintendo 3DS lol honestly my 47'' LED 3D TV is begging for a console now.
