Did anyone else find E3 a little on the dull side? Microsoft didn't really introduce anything new and didn't show much of the games that are coming this holiday season. No huge Halo 3 announcements, no huge exclusive titles, no new hardware (besides the poop green 360 and the trackball controller).
The only thing that truly amazed me is the call of duty 4 and assasins creed gameplay (which I must say looks awesome). Also, microsofts choice to talk only about gmes coming out this year was a poor decision. We already know about those games. It just seems to me that Microsoft is playing with their cards a little too close to their chest. What do you think?
Midway's highly acclaimed second-world-war shooter Hour of Victory has been tipped as a serious contender to claim the Game of The Year crown.
Hour of Victory features:
- Advanced jaw-breaking visuals running on the new Unreal 4.5 engine
- An intense varied multiplayer mode featuring revolutionary new modes such as death match and "lag-void"; a mode in which players play under heavily-lagged conditions, Midway claim this variation is added to add a sence of "matrix-style bullet time" in their games.
- A whole range of modern weaponry including the Luger, Thompson machine gun and of course the MP44
- A.I. thats so advanced that enemy soldiers chose not to react after sighting the player due to acknowleding how bad ass the player is.
Midway's Hour of Victory is one of the first games to bravely use the World-War-2 setting in a shooter and even the likes of Activision, producers of the Call of Duty franchise, admit that their inspiration for the Call of Duty games came from no other than Hour of Victory even before it's release.Midway received a whole range of awards from the likes of GameSpot including the rare "shallow" award indicating that the game is even playable in the deepest of swimming pools. GameSpot also gave it a score of 2.0 suggesting the game was 2-good and is a must for the Xbox 360 gamer.
David F.Zucker, owner of Miday Games quotes: "All of us here at Midway games are overwhelmed but not particularly surprised by the great success of Hour of Victory, our very talented team spent a whole 2 weeks developing the game, and when you receive acclaim such as "Halo-beater" then you know that you've done a hard-days work.
Due to the overwhelming success of Hour of Victory, Midway have officially announced a sequel, dubbed Hour of Defeat, where players take the role of German soldiers. The game is due to be released in late september to challenge Halo 3's highly anticipated release.
Due to fears of losing sales, Bioware and Rockstar have delayed their respective games Mass Effect and Grand Theft Auto IV to 2008.

lol, I love the satire. I played the demo for approximately 2 minutes and knew that It was a complete turd. Maybe gamespots scathing review and threads like this will finally stop the onslaught of terrible WWII shooters.
Yes, the first month of WoW is free. Unless they changed it within the last few months... Also worth noting is that you get the first month free even if you used a 14 day trial before buying the game. Thats pretty nice of Blizzard I think.
Im not sure about the BC expansion though, but I assume that the 30 days that came with the original game would not be affected by installing the expansion.
Thats cool that it works with the classic controller. I'd probably never use it since i like the wiimote better but its nice to know its there. I miss the laser sight with the wiimote though.
Oh, and to the people who insist on criticising the original poster for every video he puts up, you'll be sorry when he has something really interesting to show and doesn't because he gets flamed every time he makes a post.
