Yea I thought it might be because the employees that set up the klosks dont know what theyre doing. Its kinda weird that every place Ive seen them ( Best Buy, Gamestop, Walmart, Target etc...) all looked the same. You'd figure someone would get the setup right.
It varies. It may never happen again. It may happen in a few months, a few weeks, a few hours. Ive had to use it a few times since I first got the RLOD a few months ago. As soon as the Halo 3 Beta's over, its going for repairs.
You know what? Im not sure if its the brand or the technology, but every time Ive seen an Xbox 360 played on a Samsung LCD, like at the kiosks, I'm astounded bu how bad it looks. I played on a 27 inch CRT EDTV and a now use a 480p projector (upscaled to 720p) and the quality is much better than the Samsung. Ive heard good things about Samsung HDTV's and their new LCD models seem to be pretty popular, but Im not too sure about their picture quality.
Honestly being 18 I notice that 16-24 age group are seriously the worst with they emotinal stress, racism,attitudes,ignorance ect ect.Whoever said 14 years and under are the worst are obviosuly a medicore gamers cause most of the annoying age groups are 16-24 due to high school, college ect.There are good people in every age group but 16-24 are defiantly the worst.OoSuperMarioO
You've just included about 80% of the xbox live playing demographic in that age bracket. Thats like saying "cows that are fart ozone depleting gas and go moo are the worst kind of cows"
I agree with the original poster, mistreatment is likely a large contributor to the RLOD epidemic, but I doubt its the sole reason. The 360 is simply not a reliable piece of hardware (at least in its current state of production). I can attest that I treat my stuff like gold and my Xbox got the lights a few months ago. Something is wrong when so many people have issues with their hardware. Microsoft needs to figure out away to make these consoles more durable and reliable.
I'm wearing glass armor with a sheild and a shroud (probably my dark brotherhood listener shroud). And im holding Mehrunes Razor up in the air. It looks sweet though I'd prefer a longsword.
