what game mode are you playing? i thought that you cannot die from other teammate's grenades.

You can die from your teammate's actual grenades. I don't think their flash or stun grenades affects you but their actual grenades do. I play in Domination and Ground War modes.

in team hardcore friendly fire is on so this happens ALL THE TIME and it is really annoying.

mine is wired and it kind of sucks but the wireless ones are way too expensive.
