People have short term memory. The PSX had a slow start. Ended up winning. The PS2 had a slow start. Ended up winning.

Really, the PS3 had a decent launch. Considering the fact that the best PS2 launch game was SSX and the best PS3 one was Resistance. I mean, come now. Give her time. She'll kick some 360 ass.

wow, just that tiny little bit of info got me excited. It seems likely this game won't see the light of day until Xmas 2008 though.

Blue Ray will win simply because it's COMPLETELY uncompressed. Buying a movie is now about having a home theater experience that's complete. Uncompressed media is extremely important in having a home theater. Hence Blue Ray not only deserves to win, but it will in the near future offer the best experience.

It's ridiculous for a number of reasons. Reasons all of you know very well, and yet on IGN and Gamespot we're still seeing side by side photos of PORTS being used to try and say which has better tech. Just wondering what peoples oppinions are on this.

it means nothing about the controller itself. It means M$ got a contract with them.

If it's a larger HD you want, you do of course realize that the PS3 is designed for an HD upgrade... Soooo if that's the selling point of the 360 I would say no. If you really must play Gears of War and don't wanna play Heavenly sword and Lair this summer then go with the 360 I guess...

This certainly isn't the first time M$ has copied Sony's controller design. Or need I remind you who put rumble inside a controller first? Who put two joysticks on a contr first? Who had four shoulder buttons first? And although Nintendo did innovate the motion sensing in this gen. Sony actually used the tech first with Warhawk on the PSX. Look up that old school thingy and you'll realize who has been innovating controllers all along.

Good to see Microsoft's multi billion dollar viral marketing campaign is still going strong. :/

here's to hoping that the people looking at the screen shots are smart enough to see for themselves how amazing it looks (not even in motion)
