[QUOTE="lewisg1212"][QUOTE="IronBass"] Again, not always.IronBass
...yes, its called common sense. like MGS4 wouldnt play on the 360.

GTAIV and Fallout 3 are bigger in every aspect you mentioned, and they are not much bigger than Dead Space, for example.

GTA4, Fallout 3 and Dead space are not larger games than MGS4, or Killzone 2.

Actually, those things have proven to be a problem for the nice PS3. Blue-Ray = a more expensive console. Cell = difficult to develop for. Sixaxis = lack of vibration.IronBass
Sixaxis= has been fixed cell = Developers got the hang of it Blu-ray = cheaper now Both the Wii and the 360 can't stand next to the PS3. Forget that that can't even stand in the PS3's shadow.

[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]"Killzone 2 uses over 40 gigs of diskspace" Who told you that?lewisg1212
haha, everyone with a 40gb ps3 would be pretty screwed if that were true :P

He was talking about Blu-ray discs.

Sorry for another Killzone 2 related topic, but I found this interesting. Killzone 2 ads were pulled from Canadian bus stops because Helghan's have "menacing heads with glowing red eyes" and depict violence

Partly, but it's mainly because of price. If it launched at $300 or less, there wouldn't even be a console war. More of a slaughter which we saw in the previous 2 gens. Ah, well.Floppy_Jim
It's the only reason. The 360 and the Wii are going to get destroyed eventually. The PS3 has the longest life span out of the 3 consoles.

With Blu Ray starting to take over the movie market, games like Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5, Grand Theft Auto IV, and the upcoming Riddick game coming available soon .... and exclusive titles like the amazing Metal Gear Solid 4, MLB The Show, Killzone 2, and God of War 3 coming ... the PS3 is without a doubt the best gaming console out there now. They need to drop the price down to $300 bucks and get everyone onboard. I am seriously trading in my Nintendo Wii to get a PS3 for the titles I mentioned above plus a great Blu Ray player. I am not dogging the Wii, it's great and I would have one over the 360 anyday. I'm just ready to play some big time games and have a nice blu ray player. JDW_games
Well I am dogging the Wii because it's NOT great. If you do trade in your Wii you will not regret it.

[QUOTE="patriots7672"]

Bluray's capacity is necessary for space development of games. Games are beginning to grow in size and in some cases is causing multiple discs for 360 games. Not to mention the benefit of bluray's being unscratchable.

This large capacity game in development called "Rage" will be on 1 bluray and 2 360 discs. I'll bet more and more games will be multiple on 360 ahead.

Don't listen to him. He's just a blind Wii or 360 fanboy. You just brought him factual evidence and his only come back was "tell Brady to break a leg when the season starts." It's clear that developers need more space on discs for there High Def games. The Wii's games look like something out of the Atari 2600. They look and sound like crap. Not to mention that they suck and get returned with in 2 weeks after purchase. The 360 with it's 3 -6 disc games (Blue dragon, lost odessey anyone?) Call me a fanboy all they want but like the Japanese I'm no fool when it comes to console investments. PS3 is the most value for you dollar, pound, or yen. The Wii is just a worthless junk box, the game discs are good for bear costers. The 360's games are great... just can't play them for 3 weeks at a time.

The Wii is selling fast but it will not last.

Its sales are getting better and its selling even faster over time year on year not worse.

So in other words all evidence points to you being wrong.

Ok. If the PS3 is the last one standing and Nintendo is making a new Wii then what I typed will be right. Also you know very well it's because of the price why PS3 is in last place. but that won't be long. Once it has competitive pricing the Wii will get blown out. It already sucks, the games are trash, you can only play mario for so long.(And the PS3 will have a bigger and superior library also.)

What I meant to say was you can't put down loadable games on the External HD you can put Game saves on it.
