On topic: Far Cry 2 has been getting either great or bad reviews. I'll be picking this up after Fallout 3 and judge it myself.

I can see how killing all the enemies in a location only to look back after a couple of seconds while driving away and see them immediately respawn is nothing at all. Or how you you encounter the same kind of checkpoints over and over again is nothing at all. Or how enemy jeeps are always faster than yours is nothing at all.

I can give you several other examples that qualify as nothing in your book.

and i cant see why your armor in crysis sucks while outhers got better or why koreans are placed always in the path you follow, some open ended gameplay plz!

so you just hype far cry 2 for how realistic it is, wow.

so to repair a car you just have to turn a screw.

if you shoot the car tires nothing happens.

the holes in the windows of the car heal.

people die from 20 bullets if not shot in the head, (i can understand that in crysis since they have body armor) in far cry they have T shirts.

people spawing, (for example the roadblocks , you clear them , return , and poof they are all there.)

with the car you cant even run down some plants and small trees aswell. , they are like brick walls,

they make animations in far cry such as removing bullets to make it more realistic, but when in a car look at the legs, they dont even press the gas pedal or break or anything at all.

the physics are awfull compared to other games. (try driving a car in a little shack and see) and hope that its breakable

people see you through walls, very realistic. (i was driving and a car came by and started shooting, i loaded the game becouse i died and prepared for the car to come, i hid behind the rock, the car passed and then stopped a few meters away,after that they started shooting (i was completle hidden).

well there might be more, so those are the cons.

the fire is pretty cool, i like the map, but it gets repetitive. the shooting is average.

crysis and stalker got their own issues this game has too and 20 bullets? pls the first koreans in crysis during nigh are not wearing armor check it, also do your prefer reapairing a car all by yourself? no need and the shooting is MUCH BETTER than crysis which is mediocre thanks to that shooting is awesome, i also tried stuff in crysis and didnt work like climbing up a boat, also psychics? i thought we play for fun? apart from crysis which beat ti in psychics or the ability to burn the vegetation?

Crysis never once said it has 50 KM2 of totally open world where you can go anywhere, and Crysis gameplay was much better then FC2 to boot.

AGAIN i dint say it said 50km it said that you go into a base by mutliple ways and it primised wide jungles thats a lie its graphics too check the first beta screens, yup not that good and the gunplay in crysis is garbage its all abot using powers and not weapon base combat like far cry 2 and it has much bigger areas and driving also the ai in crysi cant drive so plz its the same crap dissapointing all the way!

Having a bigger area does not make a game better, especially when that area is repetitive, boring and has nothintg interesting. Is that how you judge game? By playing area? Having a large area does not matter much when the gameplay is not very good. AI iN Crysis can't drive? Did you play the game? They drive and are much smarter then the dumb Ai in FC2 that drive right up to yuor vehicle and don't move when your shooting them in the face.

You can handle each situation in Crysis multiple ways, and yopu have many more options then in FC2.

YES as games proved big areas are good eg assain creed, why you think its open ended? becasue it sales, also in far cry 2 you got weapon based combat no suit abilities, continuing on, in far cry 2 you can get in a base by any side you want unlikely in crysis the landscape is made so that you can go in from behind,and you got options in far cry 2 such as sniping bombing luring the enemy or bombing their vehicles, you just dont use unrealistic powers and in africa those guns are old and stolen why they d sale weapon mods? less technology the better, as for ai in crysis they cant drive, do you see them drive at all apart from boats? they just appear in fron of you with their trucks by sripts and i spotted holes in those scripts, but in far cry 2 they get inside vehicles and chase you, now script maping 50 km is kinda hard isnt it? ! why the ai to move when you shoot them in the face? they are not superhuman neither ai moves while they are in vehicles mostly the driver doesnt get out but stand inside the car and ignores you by scripted moving like the truck after the bridge in the assault level, awful scripting, again you didnt prove anything same crap in crysis and even worse, far cry gave the abilites crysis didnt like climbing on a boa and fightinh with the ai, not teleporting inside the driver seat or make ai look dumb by jumping on the boat, so its better allright!

The thing I hate about FC2 is that its linear. When you are on a road yhere is no other way to destroy a checkpoint unless you go guns blazing.unrealplaya55

Crysis owns this game sorry, the gameplay is stale and repetitive on FC2, cryssi gave the player much mroe options and variety. FC2 is not amazing, average at best. Console shortcomings also stand out in this game.

its got nothing to do with nitpicking, hell, I loved Clear Sky and thats got many flaws, at least it was not a repetitive bore, FC2 quickly becomes boring and repetitive.

WRONG crysis gameplay is crap it start follow a path kill koreans while in a vehicle like they were palced there to kill them and you gonn pass from that road not explore the island cuz there is not any also crysis is repetive you use the suit abilities all the time and disable jammers :) Finnaly it has mediocre weapon based combat

it has more option and variety ccrysis is another linear fps no worldmap, average? cod4 got a higher score that fc2 so plz? crysis is average at best if not medicore, (last time i checked the video review comments)
