Since all we have at this point are rumored specs on the 4870 it's hard to be specific. I'm sure once we get closer to June 23 we'll have a better idea.
What I will recommend though is that you don't just look at the wattage of a PSU. What is far more important is the amps it pushes and how many lines it has. Don't buy a cheap PSU regardless of the claimed wattage.
To give you an example. I have a Corsair HX520. It's only a 520w PSU but it has more amps than some 800w PSU's. My little Corsair has been powering an 8800 GTS SLI system now for over a year without fault.
I don't have any experience with other brands but I will highly recommend the Corsair series, they are probably one of the better choices out there. I would however get one of their higher wattage models for a newer system. Even if you don't choose a Corsair at the very least make sure you get a modular PSU, the non-modular ones tend to be of lesser quality and are 10x the PITA that a modular one is.
