@medafaded @shinrae5 Where did you get 65 and 90 from? The characters are in the season passes. The whole package so far is $40 for 16 characters with a decent amount of modes. Sounds fair to me.
This is why I love Nintendo. Microsoft and Sony are basically creating the same content with similar tones and Nintendo is in a league of its own. I love both sides but I don't see any logical reason to own both a Ps4 and X1 because at this point, they offer pretty much the same experience. But I'll gladly own one of those systems AND a Wii U.
Single player looks dull just like any other action game or generic shooter these days. But the multiplayer looks interesting. It actually has personality. I'll be keeping my eye on this.
...Okay. Footage from an old game, no commentary, no relevance to any current game (it's a little late for Tropical Freeze0 and it's not even impressive gameplay. Am I missing something?
@vitari They don't immediately have sex with you after you do them a favour. Seriously, you save a random girl you don't know from some guy and immediately after killing the guy, sex scene. Sounds repulsive to me.
@bat725 You simply can't rebrand an existing console and throw away the central idea (gamepad). If they drop everything now, it wouldn't be a good sign to investors. They just have to accept what happened and pull through.
It has a solid library now (although it did suffer a drought for like 3 months and another one for 5 months). And it's the best choice ever to use Netflix and web browsing. It is generally a great system. But damnit Nintendo screwed up royally with the marketing and messaging of the Wii U. First off, what kind of name is Wii U? I know they prefer to be unique and creative with their names but did they not learn from the 3DS name? Second, I never seen any commercial or advertising for this thing all year until just recently. No one knows about it, and therefore, no one cares.
Another big thing, Nintendo themselves said they wanted to cater to the hardcore market. Then do what you must to portray that. Maybe have a commercial showing off the 3rd party content like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed and Batman and also mention the great quality first party games. Who wouldn't want the 3rd party content and the solid games from Nintendo on one system? Besides activision and Ubisoft, Nintendo basically has no support. They're in a hole but Nintendo's been through worse. Much worse.
