It's weird to see a 17 hit combo that only takes away 1 cm of health from the bar.firefox59
It is very interesting that the trend in Japanese games is to have these high combos hits. They are found in fighters and RPGs like the Tales series. Even Sonic Unleashed allows players to have high combos as shown in the Werehog gameplay.

I was playing Vesperia at my friend's house and every second i was laughing. The entire thing sounded cheesy to the point i couldn't take the game seriously. Is TOS2 like this?nintendoman562
It is not only in Tales of Symphonia, but in almost every Japanese RPG with English voice-acting. That is why I tend to avoid playing Japanese RPGs because of the often bad voice-acting. I am very sensitive to voice-acting because it is something that I can quickly notice, and I will often quickly dismiss a game because it has poor voice-acting. While I do love the original Japanese voice-acting, I begin to have a dislike of it because of the stereotypical male and female voices that are often recycled on every RPG. It seems to me that the same Japanese voice actors are behind the voices of these games.

Since no one has posted this on the GameSpot forums already, I wish to let everyone know that Famitsu magazine has given Animal Crossing: City Folk a 33/40 score. http://fs.finalfantasytr.com/ Please look under "Machi e Ikouyo: Doubutsu no Mori [Animal Crossing: City Folk]"
