Is the U.S. was in place of Israel, they would send in troops to Lebanon. This would mean more American soldiers would die, but less Lebanese civilians would die.

ON THE OTHER HAND, Israel is going with the "less israeli soldiers die, way more lebanese civilians die". See the difference?

Taegukki

The objective of war is to not lose soldiers....or at least as much as it's possible. We don't want our soldiers to die nor does any other nation. Will some...yes. But we certainly do NOT go into war with the thinking you profess. War is kill or be killed....and in the end that is all it is.

You're not getting it. Compare U.S.'s actions to Israel's.

Did the U.S. take the easy route and just bomb Iraq/Afganistan? No.

Are you Jewish by any chance? (Pro-Israel)

I am both Jewish and pro-Israel. Youre comment about Israel being a bigger terrorist organisation than Fatah, Hezbollah, Hamas etc is absolutely absurb. Defending yourself against attack doesnt make you a terrorist. Also, comparing Israeli's (Jews) to the Nazi's is probably one of the most offensive things you could ever do.

Lol. many American politicans can express their opinions on the Jewish Lobby because they are dismissed as "anti-semitic".

For the person who said Saudi Arabians learn hatred in school for us, well, why are we allied with Saudi Arabia then? Get the connection...?

[QUOTE="john_doe2"]Israel is dealing with a culture that is entirely different from ours. The extremist muslims don't respect civility. They don't respect kindness. They don't respect diplomacy. They don't respect tolerance. They respect power, brutality, strong will, fear, etc. They aren't like us. Unfortunately, they don't respect civility. The only civility they respect is the type of civility that comes out of the end of a gun. soulsofblayck

Which is why the U.S. needs to choose its allies, if it wants to be "liked" by the Middle-East majority (muslims). Btw, your sentence is valid, but change it to "extremist muslims and zionists".

The U.S. should declare Israel being a violator of Human Rights and withdraw its alliance. I just don't know why Israel should exist when the MAJORITY of the Jews in Israel DISAGREE with Israel existing! (note: a zionist is not a follower of judaism aka not a jew besides birth, and it is against the TORAH to have the state of israel to exist)

Why? Israel is the only ally we have in the Middle East practically. IMO, it's better to have one ally rather than none. Even if we withdrew our alliance with Israel, I don't see how the hostile Arab nations would like us any better.

And if we tried becoming friends with the Arab nations (besides Saudi Arabia), they would be more friendly to us. It's a fact Israel is more of a terrorist organization than any of the arabs..

It is reasonable for an arab terrorist organization violating Human Rights, but ISRAEL violating Human Rights is just...unreasonable.

The Arab nations don't want to kill the jews...the Rabbis from Israel have talked with the Supreme Leader and President of Iran, and they only want to get rid of the zionists in Israel (the gov't). Of course, since the zionists control U.S.'s media you'll get only positive views of Israel.

Nice job replacing Jews with Zionists controlling the media.

A jew is to a zionist as a muslim extremist is to a real muslim.

If I used the word "jews control the U.S. media" someone would say "ANTI SEMITIC".

Israel gets $3 billion/year from the U.S. Despite it is a very rich country (Israel), it gets more foreign aid than others.

Jewish (zionist) lobby in U.S. is good eh?

[QUOTE="thotoz"][QUOTE="Taegukki"][QUOTE="thotoz"][QUOTE="SimpJee"]

The moral of the story .... don't screw with Israel. They're insane, and will kill you.

Although I do think it pretty awesome that when your soldiers are kidnapped from another nation, the following day they start bombing. That's some initiative I'd like to see from Britain and America regarding Iran.

Taegukki

You cannot kill innocent people/attack a country because of a certain group of people. That's immoral.

They attacked Hezbollah because they not only kidnapped 3 of their soldiers, they also shot missiles into residential areas of Israel. What did they expect, a slap on the wrist?

So since we attack afghanistan/iraq the terrorists have permission to attack the USA including civilians

Therefore the 9/11 attack was 100% allowed and just another part of war. So lets stop whining on 9/11 cause who cares a ****, 10 times more died in terrorist attacks in India.

:| Attacking civilians isnt part of war. You know who gives a **** about 911? Everyone with a shread of decency or heart, and everyone who lost a loved one in the attacks. Dont for a second think that theyre not worth a damn. Im not going to reply to any more oof youre posts, youre a very twisted and woefully misinformed person.

[QUOTE="thotoz"]

Wait... correct that.

Hezbollah shot 4000 missiles in Israel, killing 37. Israel can shoot 5 missiles, and kill a hundred. They can't attack the whole country cause of that.

LJS9502_basic

So? No one would have been killed but for Hezbollah. You can't blame someone for being accurate because the other side isn't.:|

Exactly. Hezbollah started it, Israel finished it. Case closed.

I don't have a heart cause I don't care about 9/11? I do care about 9/11, but it is an overexaggerated event.

Do you not care for the people dieing in Africa?

What about all of the poor people in the world dieing?

And the natural disasters in places like India?

What about the many thousands of civilians dieing because of the U.S. being in Afghanistan or Iraq?

What about the Lebanese dieing? Palestinian? What about anyone dieing?

So we should care more for the 9/11 attack because it took place in the U.S., and the U.S. is inferior to every other race, correct? lol.

If you cared about the 9/11 attack, that means you care for people's lives. Then how can you say that it is "ok" to kill thousands of lebanese for the cost of only some Israelis? Is that not a contradiction?

Even though Hezbollah started it, Israel was killing at a 100:1 ratio (100 lives killed for the cost of 1)

Either care about all of humanity, or none. Why are there suicide bombers? If you get to the root cause of all this wreck, you come to the U.S. and its allies that started it. What's going on today, is only a build-up of all the hatred started by the U.S. and its allies.

There's a difference between 40 dead and 2000 dead from Israel, these numbers aren't accurate but you get the point.
