War Horse/Arthur Christmas movie reviews (4 more topics)

Hey everyone, I watched both of these movies yesterday and I'm going to give my review of them as my FINAL movie reviews of 2011. :) Here are the movie reviews.

War Horse- Oh wow!!! this movie was just so beautiful and moving, This film proves that Steven Speilberg is still the master of filmmaking and he always will be. That's why Steven Speilberg is the greatest director of all time. We took my grandparents to see this movie and they loved it. The picture was beautiful, the scores are wonderful and the score (that was played in the trailer) was played in this film a few times. The acting was also marvelous and the horse was just so beautiful. There were a few scenes that might make the audience cry. I didn't cry that much but the part that probably did make shed a tear was near the end of the movie. What I love about this movie is how it doesn't go crazy with special effects or any of that stuff. It just has a basic storyline for all of us movie lovers that enjoyed the gold ol' days of movies. Consider this film another Steven Speilberg classic. The war scenes in this film were also very good. But yeah, if you just want to see a movie that doesn't go crazy with special effects and has a sweet, moving, and basic storyline then "War Horse" is the movie for you.

Arthur Christmas- FINALLY!!! I got to see this movie. I've been wanting to see this movie a long time ago but we never got a chance until now. I really enjoyed this Christmas movie. It was very funny and it was heartwarming plus sweet. I love these kinds of movies where it is just sweet, heartwarming, and funny. I enjoyed the voice acting and the movie was at a very good and fun pacing. The animation, although, is NOT beautifully done but animation is just okay in my opinion. But yeah, other than the animation NOT being the best, I still enjoyed this movie. If you want to see a fun Christmas movie that is very funny and heartwarming plus sweet that also has a good and very fun pacing throughout the whole movie then "Arthur Christmas" is the movie for you.

:( I'm so sad, these are my FINAL movie reviews of 2011 and I enjoyed giving my opinions of the movies I watch at the theater all year long. :( Those my last movie reviews before 2011 is over and 2012 begins. :( So yeah!!!

NEXT TOPIC (Who's gonna watch that 1-hour iCarly episode "iStill Psycho" (which airs tonight).

Who is going to watch that 1-hour iCarly episode "iStill Psycho" tonight?

I'm definitely NOT going to watch it tonight. First of all, I'm going to my cousins' New Year's Eve party tonight. Second, I don't want my New Year's Eve to be ruined by watching this mess. I'll probably watch it just to see if it's worse than "iPsycho" or a tiny bit better than "iPsycho" in my opinion BUT I'm definitely NOT watching it today.... maybe some other day I'll give it a watch but not on this day called "New Year's Eve". All I know is that "iStill Psycho" is going to suck and ruin Season 5 big time. Season 5 really hasn't been a very good season and it's definitely nowhere near as funny or good as Season 4. I think the writers are running out of ideas so they came up with this. I honestly think "iCarly" needs to be put to rest after this season (no offense to the iCarly fans)

NEXT TOPIC: (Are you all doing for New Year's Eve today?)

What is everyone going to be doing for New Year's Eve today?

As I just mentioned in the previous topic, I'm going to my cousins' New Year's Eve party tonight. Don't worry marebear2009, your review that will be MY FINAL REVIEW of 2011 will be reviewed before I leave to the party tonight. I know that the party will have food and drinks. I might go swimming and I'm bringing over my Xbox Kinect to the house so everyone can play it. I have 3 Xbox Kinect games such are Kinect Adventures, Just Dance 3, and MotionSports Kinect. But yeah, I bet everyone will have fun with my Xbox Kinect. Of course, we will also be counting down til' 2012 comes. Happy New Year's Eve everyone!!!

NEXT TOPIC: (How was your year 2011? What were your bests of 2011? What were your worsts of 2011?)

So how was your year 2011? What were your bests of 2011? what were your worsts of 2011?

Bests of 2011:

(1.) Going to lunch with the girl I really like back in October 2011

(2.) Going to the movie theatre a lot this year to watch the movies that I either want to see OR give it a chance even though it doesn't look all that interesting to me.

(3.) Getting an Xbox Kinect, the movies "Kung Fu Panda 2" and "Crazy Stupid Love", a SpongeBob Christmas hat, A SpongeBob Coin Bank, some money, and a Gift Card to Wal-Mart and Pizza Hut for Christmas.

(4.) Giving the girl that I really like a box of chocolates that says "Will You Be My Valentine?" and then she says "Yes" on February 2011.

(5.) Going to Albuquerque for a couple of days over the summer

(6.) Passing all of my classes for this semester with A's. B's, and a C

(7.) FINALLY joining this website which was in February 12th, 2011 (two days before Valentine's Day) after trying to join this website since November 2009.

Worsts of 2011:

(1.) My dad passed away in September 2011

(2.) This was my first Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now New Year's Eve without my dad.

(3.) I never asked out the girl I really like but I'm too shy to do it OR at least never asking her out to homecoming.

(4.) It was my only semester in Visual Media class... I wonder what class will replace that when I go back to school on Wednesday, January 4th, 2012.

Happy New Year's Eve Everyone!!!

1st TV.com User to comment on this blog WILL.......

request a review for me to do as MY FINAL REVIEW of 2011. :)

I figured this would be fun so the 1st TV.com user that comments on this blog will request ONE review for me to do on New Year's Eve as My Final Review of 2011.

Also, if I'm still doing Christmas reviews if you're all wondering if I'm done. I still have to do the Christmas episodes for Kids Next Door, Billy and Mandy, Home Improvement (7 Christmas episodes), and a few more. :)

I'm not done yet but hopefully by tomorrow, I should be done. :)

Well... hope that 1st TV.com user has fun requesting a review for me to do as MY FINAL REVIEW of 2011. :)

Merry Christmas!!!

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas or whatever other holiday you all celebrate. :)

I don't know if I'm gonna make the same blog saying merry christmas tomorrow but we will see what it happens.

For Christmas Eve, we're gonna go visit my dad from the cemetery in a little bit.

After that, when I come home, I'll get started on my HUGE set of Christmas reviews. Well, I'll probably do a few before we leave to the cemetery and then continue with them when I come back. :)

As soon as everyone comes to my house for Christmas. I'll pretty much stop reviewing for today and continue reviewing tomorrow on Christmas Day. Also, if I don't finish all of the Christmas reviews that I wanted to review. I'll continue on December 26th, 2011. :)

Also, it's snowing a lot here in El Paso, Texas and This Is The First White Christmas because it never snows on Christmas in El Paso and it the first time... it has. :) So it will be a snowy Christmas this year which makes me happy. :) It snowed yesterday, it snowed today, it will snow tomorrow, and possibly a couple more days of snow. :)

What I got for Christmas is an Xbox Kinect (I'm so excited about using that) and the movies "Kung Fu Panda 2" and "Crazy Stupid Love". :) Those are my Christmas presents right there. :)

So I hope you have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannakuh (sorry if I spelled it wrong, I'm usually a good speller) , and all the other holidays. :)

What are you all doing today on this wonderful holiday or other holidays?

NEW trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" (Watch the trailer HERE)

Hey everyone,

Before I get to the main subject which I'm sure most, if not, all are excited about. :)

I just wanted to say if you didn't vote for each category for Christmas Awards 2011... please do it because I really want more votes. :)

Here is the link to look at the nominees: (MESSAGE me the votes only)

Deadline: December 22nd, 2011

Winners will be posted: December 23rd, 2011

I saw "Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game of Shadows" on Friday (the first day it came out)... read my movie review about it. :) Anyways, the new trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" showed before the movie started :)

Everyone tell me what you think of the trailer on the comments. Are you excited? does it look good or bad to you?

Click here to watch the NEW trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx2rhzcIVxo

In my opinion, I think the movie is going to be the most amazing action movie that I've ever experienced. I know Christopher Nolan isn't going to screw up with this final Batman movie. I just wish that this movie came out on July 13th, 2012 (my birthday) instead of July 20th, 2012. :(

Oh well, maybe they will change the premiere date to that... it would make me so happy if they do. :)

So yeah, what do you guys think of the new trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises"?

Also, if you want to see more trailers that are releasing to theaters in 2012 then CLICK HERE:http://www.tv.com/users/tigerdude22/profile.php?action=show_blog&entry=m-100-25965074

That's all for my blog :) Thanks everyone!!! Have a nice Sunday. :)

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows movie review (Also go to movie trailers blog)

Hey everyone,

I just saw this movie today so here is my movie review of it:

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows- I saw the 4:05pm showing of this movie and it ended at 6:30pm. :) Yeah, I know it's a long movie but it was worth plus the movie trailers which gave it the time. The movie is like 2 hours and 3 minutes long. Anyways, I watched this movie today and I thought it was awesome, full blown, action-packed movie. I was so incredibly impressed with this film. It's RARE for me to like sequels better than the original. I've gotta say that I think this second movie was better than the original (a.k.a. first movie). The action sequences were so freakin' good and I most certainly loved how they slo-motion throughout the explosive, intense, and full blown action sequences. Watch this film and see why I'm so freakin' impressed with this action sequences. This movie is not only more action-packed than the original but it was also funnier than the original. There were some parts that really cracked me up and the audience. This movie just released in theaters today so the theatre was pretty packed. Sad news for the Rachel McAdams fans though, she is NOT the main character of the movie... she only makes a cameo appearance in this film which only lasts about at least 15 minutes from how I'm guessing. So yeah, if you're expecting to see more of the lovely and very sexy Rachel McAdams... she is sadly only in this movie for a short period of time. But yeah, I loved the storyline much more better than the original, this one had more comedy than the original, and the action sequences were twice as more intense, out-of-this-world etc. than the original. The action sequences do involve a lot of explosions, gunfire, shootings, and it was pretty bloody for a PG-13 movie... so I think this film might be too intense for the little kids since the action sequences are much more... how do you say it?.... advance. So TV.com users, if you want to watch a movie that has a magnificent storyline, great comedy, tons of action scenes with gunfire, shootings, explosions, etc. then this is definitely the movie for you.... go all out and see "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows". :)

Also, go to my "NEW Movie Trailers blog" and share your opinions on each of the trailers on that blog. :)

By the way, I need more TV.com users to vote. I only have 10 TV.com users that participated in my VOTE for each category on the Christmas Awards 2011. A few of the categories are tied so I really need more. :)

PLEASE if you could help me spread the word to more TV.com users, I would eternally appreciate that. :)

Deadline: December 22nd, 2011

Winners will be posted: December 23rd, 2011

You all know where to go to look at the categories and vote. :) Tell them that they can either go to my following blogs "The Muppets movie review/VOTE now for Christmas Awards 2011 (MESSAGE ONLY)" OR "My Picture/Final Exams/Please if you didn't do that yet (MESSAGE ONLY)" to look at the categories and vote.

Oh yeah, tell them to only MESSAGE me the votes. :)

Thanks so much and also go to my trailers blog and comments your opinions of the trailers on that blog. :) Thanks hopefully more votes will come in my inbox. :)

My Picture/Final Exams/Please VOTE if you didn't do that yet (MESSAGE ONLY)

Hey everyone,

Well... you all are probably wondering who this is weird-looking dude is. You know, the one wearing a paper santa beard and a santa hat plus a Christmas Tree as my background... well, that guy is unfortunately ME.

I really didn't want to show my picture but you know how the new layout says "Share on Facebook". I check-marked it and I did it because I thought MY REVIEW would go through Facebook for all of my friends to see.

What sucks was that it only shows your picture directly from Facebook which I hate because I don't want to show my face in this website. So yeah, I'm trying to figure out a way to take my picture off of TV.com. :) Well... at least you all know who I look like now. :)

Second, this final week of the semester is FINAL EXAMS week. I'm pretty sure most of you, if not all, have to do that. :) Anyways, final exam week was been very good.

Here is my schedule for each of the final exams:

Monday-Regular Day (morning)/Lunch/8th Period final exam

Tuesday- 1st Period final exam/Lunch/3rd Period final exam

Wednesday- 5th Period final exam/Lunch/7th Period final exam

Thursday- 2nd Period final exam/Lunch/4th Period final exam

Friday- 6th Period final exam/11:45am Early Release

I'm exempt from 8th Period which meant that school was over for me at 11:45am on Monday. I might be exempt from 2nd Period tomorrow but I have to ask my teacher, hopefully I am. :) Friday, I'm definitely exempt from it so my school for me is actually at 9:38am since I'm exempt. I still have to go to class for the review period from 8:45am-9:38am so they can mark you present. So Friday, I will only be in school for almost an hour and then go home so I'm most definitely looking forward to Friday. :)

By the way, "exempt" means that you don't have to take final exam and you can just go home, hang out with friends, or whatever you like to do. :)

Out of all the final exams, I enjoyed the 1st Period final exam even more and it was for Visual Media. :)

On Visual Media, we took the final exam and then my teacher put in the movie "Elf" afterwards. Everyone in the classroom was laughing hard so I know I'm not the only one that laughs hard at a movie like "Elf". :)

I'm sad before I just found out that my Visual Media is only one semester long which means that I won't have it next semester which saddens me. I don't know what class I'm going to have that will replace Visual Media but I'm pretty sure I won't enjoy it as much as Visual Media. :)

So how is everyone's final exams week going?

Well.. that's all for my blog so see you later. :)

(Christmas nominees are below by the way) :)

The Muppets movie review/VOTE now for Christmas Awards 2011 (MESSAGE ONLY)

Hey everyone,

I just got home from watching "The Muppets" so I will now give my movie review on it. :)

Here is my movie review:

The Muppets- I really enjoyed this movie. I read spongegirl1029's review on this movie and every word that she said about this movie was true. I can see why critics gave this movie good reviews and that it's one of the best reviewed movies this year. It was really good to see the Muppets back on screen again. I think they are all adorable... my favorite Muppet will always be Kermit The Frog. He is just such an adorable and funny character. :) As for the actors, Jason Segel and Amy Adams were terrific together and the lovely Amy Adams was fantastic in this movie. We also get celebrity cameo appearances which I really enjoyed such as Selena Gomez, Mickey Rooney, Neil Patrick Harris, and more. I also LOL'd at Jack Black's appearance in this movie. The theatre was like 80% full and the audience was cracking up and I'm not kidding when I say that. :) I was laughing so hard at this movie as well. So yeah, I enjoyed watching this movie and my mom and my aunt enjoyed the movie "New Year's Eve" (which I plan to watch either later on or wait til' DVD). So yeah, "The Muppets" will win over the love of people who grew up with these wonderful characters and children who are introduced to these characters. :) The music in this movie was also spectacular as well. :) You must watch this movie, it was a hilarious, heartwarming, and wonderful movie for everyone to really love (especially if it's characters the people grew up with). :) This movie made me very happy all the way through. :)

Now moving on to the next topic:

Here are the nominees for Christmas Awards 2011

Hey everyone, thanks to mnman... I've been giving the opportunity to do this idea. Also, if you haven't voted on mnman's Christmas Awards 2011 blog then please vote. :)

Before I get to the nominations. :) I just want to say something. :)

First of all, the DEADLINE for the voting of this blog will be on December 22nd, 2011. :) Then the blog for all of the winners will be posted on December 23rd, 2011.

I would post the winners on Christmas Eve but that's when I'll be busy reviewing all of the Christmas episodes. :)

Remember on Halloween when I reviewed only Halloween reviews on the Halloween weekend. :) Well, I will be reviewing tons of Christmas reviews on Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day. :) So that's why I made it the 23rd instead of the 24th. :)

By the way, I'm gonna wait til' Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day to review Christmas episode that comes on. For example, when the NEW Simpsons Christmas episode premieres this Sunday Night... I'm not going to review that one til' either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. :) So yeah!!!

Also, I want TV.com users to MESSAGE ONLY your votes on each of the nominees because then the TV.com users would look at the votes on the comments and that would be cheating and not very fun. :) So PLEASE only message me your votes.

DO NOT put Christmas votes on the comments. :) I would eternally appreciate that. :)
