How long do you think it will take till arcade, Dreamcast, Saturn and every Sega game ever made becomes available on PSN, Xbox Live arcade, Virtual Console and PC Direct to Drive or something like that?

How long till Sega realease new arcade games and then releases them on Xbox Live Arcade at the same time through an emulator.

So like Lindberg games released at the same time as in the arcades and having arcades connect to Xbox Live for online play.

Online play at arcades would make people go to arcades more and then in turn get people to buy them at home, which equals more sales in arcades and at home.

Arcade games would really benefit from this.

What would it take for this to happen?

Since Sony is bringing PSOne games and Microsoft is doing Xbox ones and Nintendo Nintendo 64, i would imagine the following needs to happen first.

1: Sony starts selling PS2 games online.

2: Sony releases Home in which boosts internet sales.

3: Internet speeds get quicker and cheaper.

4: People living in the country get access to the internet through a new satelite internet or through something similar.

5: Everyone starts to count the internet as a must just like TV.

6: Movies, TV shows, songs, etc get downloaded via internet, starting to happen with Xbox 360 and PSN.

I would say that in 5 years this might happen but wouldn't it be nice for Dreamcast games to be on Xbox Live Arcade for the 10th anniversary of the Dreamcast on 9/0/09.

Why is it taking this long to get people on the internet?

When do you think the next leap in speeds will happen and when it will go down in price by a lot?

For a Dreamcast game 1gb, it would take 10 minutes to download on preety quick internet but for a movie it would take 1 hr and 10 minutes, the internet needs to get quicker to get everyone to adopt it.

It needs to be atleast 10 gb in 10 minutes, not 1 gb in 10 minutes.

This would be the best videogame news ever, lets have a look at what this could mean.

Shenmue 3 would come out, Sega would create the next Xbox with Microsoft and man it would rock, everyone wants Sega to make a new machine and what better way than to make one with Microsoft. All Sega games exclusive to Xbox 360, no more stuff on DS, PSP, PS2, PS3, I phone and Wii. The PS3 is better but who cares since all the new games will be for 360 which is the second best but instead of being on another 5 platforms that arn't better than Xbox 360 and PS3 it would all be on the second best one which is Xbox 360.

Sega's arcade and home division would be joined together so we would see all the old and new games from arcades at home. Sega has allways been held back because of financial strains and Microsoft's money would give them huge marketing campaigns and Sega would be so huge. Sega have the biggest intelectual property portfolio of games in the world beating even Nintendo, lets have a look at just some.

Some of the games that were planned for the other platforms can just be converted to the 360, so some DS games can become Xbox Live Arcade games and the others converted, i mean since the 360 is easily more powerfull than the Wii and at this stage close in terms of power against the PS3. After a while the PS3 will beat 360 because of Blu Ray but don't worry Microsoft will probably have the next Xbox out which will beat the PS3. Microsoft is severly lacking in first party titles and is doing really badly in Japan, Microsoft needs Sega so much especially in regards to Japan.

Microsoft know they will never beat Sony or Nintendo without success in Japan and Sega's vast library of games caters to casual and hardcore gamers.

If Microsoft want their Xbox Live Arcade to beat the others why not snap up all of Sega's arcade games as remember Sega was and still is king in the arcades but lots of these games have never made it to the home. Imagine Dreamcast, Saturn, Genesis, Master System games and every Sega game ever made available for download, games like Scud Race, Daytona USA and so much more. Sega are very cheap to buy and no one would walk out and protest the buyout and Sega would return to being king. Microsoft also owns Rare and Rare have a few cool ip's that would start to make the new Sega Microsoft company unstopable it would be just a matter of time, Rare is allready starting to show growth with Banjo Kazooie 3.

Please please please Microsoft Buy Sega and offer them a lot of money, if you do i swear i will love your company forever and will support it forever in a big way. Sega are my favourite videogame company and if Microsoft buys them that makes the new Microsoft Sega company my most favourite. I'm not a guy that just sticks to some game consoles i like all of them and own all of them but still Sega will allways be my favourite. Does Microsoft also want to become my favourite?
