It is more likely than ever because of the unpredictable success of the Wii and their major competitor Sony was last at one stage with the PS3.

Also Sega has had to shut down over 100 arcades and abandoned plans for a big one, if Sega were to make an arcade machine that is also a home 1 instead of making just an arcade 1 it would save the arcades from fully dying.

Sega don't want their arcades to die as they make money from rollercoasters etc, this way they make money even if some of their games don't apeal to the masses, a fallback if you will.

Sega have aquired a lot of financial stability not only because it has been over 6 years of profit compared to a few years prior of losses, only last year they had a $250 million dollar loss because of their arcades but they had 6 years plus of profit.

They have made lots of low budget to make games that sold for them like Sonic Advance 3 which alone sold more than 1.5 million.

They've been making money off games they don't even make like Condemned and Condemned 2.

Sega couldn't support the Dreamcast because of their existing debt and losses years prior to Dreamcast, i think they could of afforded the manufacturing of it but the advertising was another issue.

With the joint merger with Sammy, Sammy cleared all their debt and they aquired money through Sammy's big wealth and also from profiting from the end of 2000 to the end of 2006.

I'm sure Sega know they have to do something big for arcades or they will just continue to lose money, the boss of Sammy clearly knows how to manage the company better with the mergers of the little Sega divisions that never had hits to have some.

So maybe 1 day perhaps the end of 2012 we will see a new Sega machine and the long rumored Shenmue 3 game will be a launch title.

There was a rumor in 2004 that Sega was gonna tell everyone that they will re enter the hardware bussiness since they were going to merge with Sammy and it would of seen the light of day around the time the 360 came out.

There also was a rumor Shenmue 3 was coming.

Remember the hear big news you'd never guess coming from a Sega rep?

Sony released the PS3 6 years after PS2 so i doubt they will release the next in 6 years as they said it's made to last 10 years, more like 2014, and Microsoft has done so bad in Japan. So Sega have a 2 year headstart on Sony, Microsoft will release around the same time as Sega but Sega will win in Japan against Microsoft.

I mean if Nintendo can beat all 3 so can Sega, they have more money since they are now with Sammy and Sammy runs the company.

Nintendo will probably launch a year after Sega. If a machine gets done there will not be any mistakes like in the past sammy will not allow this. Just like Sammy intergrated Sega's divisions together they might make an arcade machine that is also a home machine but only plays arcade games in the arcades.

No one ever makes anything new and Sega will add some really nice things.

Sega should make a new console that allows you to download every Sega arcade game and non arcade ones ever made through their emulators and also be able to play all the new ones. As they allways make new arcade machines why not make the arcade and home console the same thing except have the arcade one only play the new arcade games.

This way it would boost sales of arcade games since people would have a budget version of these games and interest in arcades would sky rocket, arcades are dying so this is a way to keep them living. It should have a worldwide launch in 2012 and have Shenmue 3, a new Sonic game with 2d 3d and rpg elements kind of like paper mario, Jet Set Radio 3, Skies of Arcadia 2, Nights Journey of Dreams 2, Panzer Dragoon Saga 2, all this on day 1.

New arcade games at launch that are downloadable, Scud Race 2, Outrun 3, Daytona USA 3, Space Harrier and more. They say Lindbergh is more powerfull than PS3 Wii and 360 so imagine how powerfull the new machine would be. It's only competition in 2012 would be Microsoft, Sega will beat Microsoft in Japan by so much and probably worldwide,

I'm pretty sure based on the sucess of the Wii Nintendo will not make another machine yet and even if they do Sega will easily beat them, Sony will not make a PS3 before 2014. With Microsoft going the way they are in Japan Sega can have a huge profit even if they are number 3 in Japan but they can easily become number 1.

The new machine should have something new maybe like lasers and projection images burst out of the machine from all angles around the room and like seeing all around objects and things apear more closer if your closer and just a bigger sense of 3d. It should have a new controller that feels so comfortable and nice when you press it that you want to play with it and press it even when your not playing anything.

This isn't sad why on earth would i want to play a game about an emotionless ugly fat woman.

When there is a woman in a game and she looks better ofcourse it will sell more bacause no one likes someone ugly fat emotionless and covered up.

Hi, i want to extend a Gamecube controller's cable, can i just take it to a technician and they can extend it 30 extra centimeters?

Can it be done with any cable or will i need to extend it by cutting another controllers's cable?

Will the response time of the controller still be the same?

The thing is i want an official controller and not a crap one, the only other option is to get a Wavebird but i heard it has no vibration. Before you ask i'm not a girl and i'm strongly into vibration.
