The reason I like this game- like Eve, is it's harshness. I started my lvl 97 (second char) in Feb... I didn't cry when a 196 spawn camped me in his tank.... because i knew my time would come.
@hungoverhank @otanikun @dani_i89 @timoteo2k1 R* held an event this weekend- double xp and cash for missions. ten of the right missions and you had the stimulus package money earned in one day.
HTFU, or maybe just accept that this game was never right for you.

Try harder. I found an F620 just 2-3 days into the game. twin turbo V10 fast as any 100k-250k sports car and can be made your personal vehicle for 2 grand.
Had you played during valentines you could have gotten the Gusenberg (thompson) submachine gun (best sub in the game) and if you log on right NOW you can get the Special Carbine (best Assault Rifle in game) even at lvl one (and how is that fair? A rifle nearly as good as the combat LMG you had to get to 70 to unlock... and they just give it to the noobs?)
@hungoverhank @timoteo2k1 and you're missing the point entirely.
She took a point off the original GTA V score because of it's portrayal of women (due to her personal politics), that's simply a matter of record. She entered GTA Online WITH THAT BIAS INTACT, period.
I play with usually with 6-8 players on my team per lobby. Sometimes we do randomly slaughter everything we contact. sometimes we just ride around on BMX doing stunts.
I'll grant you that though, if you're alone Los Santos is a dangerous place.
@hungoverhank @timoteo2k1 Read her original review of GTAV, where she admits she cut points from the score because of her gender bias and her dislike for "the roles of women" in the game.
She came into this game with THAT bias intact. Given the controversy surrounding her original review, where she injected her personal politics into her work she never should have been allowed to do this review in the first place.
...and BTW, they have these things called, private, invite only and crew only sessions. Where you don't have to face other players. But this part of your comment explains pretty clearly what your issue is. You want to be spoon fed a game exactly to your play style, with no work involved. What about my play style? Why should I change it for you?
@BARRICADE_28 @Jacanuk Uhh... no. You show you don't understand what an MMO is. "Massive" refers to number of players per instance, shard, world , server or whatever the game calls it.
I've played more hours of GTA Online than any other game in my history other than Eve Online (I don't miss the end of DT alarm clock ops against BoB back in '06 at all either). Myself and about 8 friends I met in game built a 247 man crew that dominates lobbies and has all the fun we can handle.
No white dots to shoot? Play automotive tag, throw a fight club at Madrazo's Ranch or the docks, 4X4 up Chilead. Hold a freaking car show.
The point is, GTAO gives you back what you put into it, Petite went in with her already established biased, bigoted view of the game, put less into it than she should, then downgraded the game's rating... shame.
and to the guy who said "it's massive, it's multiplayer, it's online... so it's an MMO". You're a moron, it's 16 player MP, that isn't massive.
Well, generally I trust KVO's reviews because he's usually their best reviewer... that said as many point out SWTOR got great reviews and it sucked, I played 5 days of my first 30.
I'm a member of a well established MMO clan with WoW and EveO chapters and ESO went from 0 to full chapter in record time and has a strong player base already, something bad games don't get done.
