I’m just glad its gonna be more “grounded” this time.. all that flying around & running across walls was quite a turn off for me in previous COD games.. almost as much as hearing the word “Battle Royale”.
Sounds like they’re off to the right track.. Saying little to nothing at all is the only way Jamie Foxx would work. But 10 mil budget? Hope they got a good plug on that special effects.
@P00DGE: Well for some people its the only viable way.. I don’t think people play them so much while they’re on a swing or taxi, especially if they don't wanna look like some creepy ass adult, but rather when they find themselves doing a fair bit of traveling & staying at hotels etc whether its for work or whatever. But obviously I prefer to play them at the comfort of my own home & big screen tv when I have a choice in the matter, but I like to be prepared either way.. No way am I about to start collecting consoles.
Btw if you like these old school games enough to snatch up all the Classics then I don’t think you can go wrong with the Switch.. its worth it for its exclusives alone.. plenty of old school style games as well.
@P00DGE: Thats fine n dandy but I still won’t ignore the fact that there’s a better, more logical way to provide these games… You should be able to play these on Switch, plain n simple. I’m sure I’m not alone in my thinking that its crazy I should have to buy 4 consoles just to play a few games that might interest me when I could just play them all on 1, whether its via download or etc.
Even if they just made 1 emulator machine to play them all, compatible with any controller that would be better & I’d even reconsider. I’ll wait for more options that are more suitable for the market that bought the Switch for its portability factor…Obviously lugging 4 Classics around isn’t happening.
@chstar: Lol no I wouldn’t be buying them again, I already wouldn’t be in any hurry to buy them if they were available on the virtual console.. Sure, I have fond memories of these games, but in reality I know they suck a fat nut compared to games today & I have plenty to play & look forward to. But good for you as long as ur happy then its money well spent. Personally just having 2 consoles is a big enough hassle & waste of space.
They can stick those Classics up their ***… Only way I’d be even remotely tempted to play any old ass games again is if they make them conveniently available for download on Switch at a reasonable price. Sad that we won’t see the system at its full potential until these cash grabs finally go away or they run out of any newsworthy games.
I’m not gonna buy into the hype like I made the mistake of doing with boring as hell Witcher 3.. Zelda BoTW kicks the shit out of that game. Might reconsider tho if the multiplayer sounds good.. cowboy PvP would be interesting.
