so many good games, but if I can only say 1, I'd have to say Uncharted, it's been awhile that I forgot about time when I played a game, I played Uncharted and without realizing it's already 5 am in the morning.

of course mgs 4 will soon take that spot away from uncharted

Haze, MGS4, MG Online, KillZone 2, Resistance 2, GTA4, FF13, FF13v, GT5, Silent Hill 5, Resident Evil 5, Tomb Raider Underworld, God of War 3, Alone in the Dark and Battlefield Bad Company.

both games are good and worth playing, but here's my take on this

resistance:

+ good story

+ long single player campaign

+ great replaybility

+ smooth online experience

- graphic may be lacking for some, although art design is still very good

call of duty 4:

+ great single player campaign

+ awesome set pieces

+ great graphics

+ multiplayer is fast and fun

- short single player

conclusion:

I'd say get call of duty 4 for now. I have a feeling Resistance will have a price drop nearing Resistance release, so get Resistance 1 later. resistance is a better valueif you prefer single player game than multiplayer game since it's longer very good. but call of duty single player is exceed expectation with its set pieces that imo, all gamer should play even if they hate fps. downside is, that's it's short, although very satisfying overall. both online game is fun, although cod is a faster more arcadey experience imo. kinda similar with counter strike multiplayer actually, so if you like that type of multiplayer, you'll love cod online

I fear it has become 360 exclusive or something. not sure about this though

edit: I searched around for metronome, what I found is that the game has major redesigned because the director said the original concept may be too hard to get a publisher. so they go back to redesign stages in 2007. so don't espect to see the game anytime soon.
