this really makes me want to play the amazing BF1942 mod Desert Combat. i friggin loved that mod, the helicopter controls in that mod were pure perfection, not even BF2's controlled as well.

o well, as far as 1943 goes i'm loving it. i'm glad most people haven't yet figured out how to fly the planes, its easy pickins right now :)

try getting Resistance 2, the co-op 8 player mode is awesome and it has 64 player team deathmatch and various modes. the campaign is pretty good too.

I would avoid R2 if I were you, its actually pretty disappointing in both online and offline, there are better options.

For online multiplayer shud i get

Killzone 2

MGS4

Fallout 3

And for adventure shud i get:

Prototype

Assassins Creed

LittleBigPlanet

InFamous

WiiAdventurer64

For online multiplayer you can't go wrong with Killzone 2, MGS4 online isn't really that fun. Also look into one of the Call of Duty games, or wait for Modern Warfare 2 in November, it will be the new standard. Note that Fallout 3 has no multiplayer.

For adventure, just know that inFamous is by far better than Prototype, so if you get one of those get inFamous. Note here that Fallout 3 is a terrific single player game, and can easily take up over 100 hours if you seek out all of the side quests. Assassins Creed is a great game, but AC2 comes out in a few months as well, so maybe hold out for that? LBP is a neat concept, but unless you're into making levels it won't be that much fun.

If you like sports games, MLB09 The Show is amazing, and the new NCAA and Madden games are coming out soon and both look great.

both are done well, but very differently. manhattan is more bland by necessity due to prototypes crazy free-running, but overall empire city is just more fun to navigate for me

using the power line device should be faster than wireless, but you can run some D/L tests if you have a laptop. goto a site like pcpitstop.com and run their download speed tests connected to both the wireless and the powerline device, it should help you.

CoD4 hands down. Single player, multi player, the graphics & sound, the weapons, pretty much every aspect is better than 5
