Give us: 1) voice chat, and 2) ability to invite our friends instead of just random douchebags

These features are so basic to modern games that there is no rational reason to exclude them, and they would make an already good game one of the best of the year. Get us a patch to fix these things!

if he does need to get his console serviced, is there any way to do it besides sending it to sony? i'm pretty sure he'll be out of warranty and he can't really afford $150 to fix it at this point

my Magic is at 10 so i have 1 slot to memorize a spell, but that d-bag in the nexus still won't talk to me, just calls me a brute and tells me to piss off. does my Intelligence need to be over 10 too?

i figured it sounded like a disc read problem... told him to check for new system update, try a small blast of compressed air in the drive, and to wipe his discs. any other tips?

CORRECTION - he IS able to hit/hold the PS button and the console responds, so he can quit/restart the game that way

the issue started in Madden 10, but has since occured in MLB The Show and NCAA 10

my buddy has a 40 GB PS3, he's had it a couple years and until recently it hadn't given him any problems...

here is what's happening: when he's playing games, the game will freeze and just sit their frozen on one image. he'll have to hold the front power button down to restart the machine to get it working again, it doesn't respond to pressing/holding the PS button on the controller. this only happens when playing games, not while watching movies. i asked if he had any scratches on his game discs, and he does not. this glitch/issue doesn't restart the console, so i don't believe its an overheating problem (i know because my old 60 GB did get the YLOD and when it was overheating it would shut itself off).

does anyone know what could be causing this? any help/tips would be appreciated!

ps store update has a bunch of **** cheats for madden, but near the bottom there is one for 'online franchise' for $10....i thought this feature was free???? this feature is the only reason i pre-ordered this game, and now its going to cost me $10 more? **** YOU EA!
