the nerfing has made these guns utterly useless and it should be changed back to the way it was at launch. these were my favorite guns before they patches nerfed them, now nobody will ever used them. if they're going to make them suck that badly they should replace them with something new that is actually useful

Reason being is because my 60 gig PS3 died a few days ago so I thought I would switch to a slim... but now realise it doesn't even compare to my fat 60 gig. I have four controllers and a wireless headset but now I only have to USB ports to plug in only two of those 5 things now... which is a bit of a nuisance, the upgraded HDD I had bought for my 60 gig won't even work for my new slim so that REALLY annoys me and the last thing isn't important at all but I miss my PS3 looking glorious with it's shiny...ness? Only thing I like about it so far is that it's lighter and takes up less space. I REALLY hope this is something that I will get over within a few days or so because I have been loyal to Sony since the launch of the PS1 and have never felt as let down as I do right now. Does anybody else feel even close to the way I do? (if you had to make the switch like myself)

Because even at $600 the launch 60GB PS3 was a better value than a cheaper 360. The PS3 had built in wifi, hdd, bluray, and free online gaming. If you bought the cheapest 360 you got none of those features, and it would cost you hundreds of extra dollars to buy the wifi adapter, hard drive, hd-dvd drive, and pay for microsoft's online gaming service. This was the main reason, the PS3 just had better features/could do more.

Second reason was the the PS3 was a more powerful console, so I knew games like MGS4 and Uncharted 1/2 (i.e. the best looking PS3 games) would always look better than the best looking 360 games.

Third reason was the exclusives. MS has Halo, Gears of War, and Mass Effect as their main heavy hitters. I have never been a fan of Halo, just thought Gears was meh...so the only game I was truly jealous wasn't on PS3 was Mass Effect. The PS3 has an amazing lineup of exclusive titles, from the aforementioned MGS4 and Uncharteds to Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance, inFamous, Valkyria Chornicles, Demon's Souls, MLB The Show, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, GT5, Heavy Rain, White Knight....the list just goes on and on.

this is by far the best headset i've used w/ the PS3 out of the 3 i've tried. earpiece is plenty loud, i usually have to turn it down, and so is the mic. it does a good job of cancelling out most background noise as well

I just stopped in to say:

The official headset officially sucks!

Conjuration
agreed. i tried one and hated it, i could barely hear anything through the earpiece and even with my mic volume turned up all the way people could barely hear me

oh yea....pairing mode for most bluetooth mics is usually activated by starting with a headset turned off, and holding the power button in for 10-15 seconds until the power light is solid or blinks different colors or something other that what it normally does when turned on

did instructions come with it? you might have to put it in 'pairing mode' and then go into the XMB, Accessory Settings and add it that way
