Keeping this particular game story line alive for "generations" I think would not be wise. We've seen what happens when keep other Square Enix games alive is like based on history (cough...Kingdom Hearts, FF13, FFX) and usually the end result is not a very good one. Honor the original and let it rest, start adding stuff and risk tarnishing your last redeeming crown jewel of FF series, cause ya'll ain't got sh** else to go on once this is finished.
This is the reason why the gaming industry in on the verge of collapse, developers like EA an Capcom are money hungry fiends that know how cheat millions out of their money by releasing unfinished beta crap games and advertise them as full finished products in multiple expensive editions. I will never per-order any game again with the devil lure of exclusive add-on dlcs content only acquired through launch. DISGUSTING!
It's a turn off when upcoming games are advertised in this way by $ sign editions, it makes me want to stir clear until it becomes old news and cheap in price.
Look is this Link a girl or boy, enough with these transgender looking iterations of Link. Always finding new ways to push this demented narrative in everyone's faces to accept this BS!
@uncle5555: You may or may not know but square enix has started releasing Final Fantasy ports to PC. It was mentioned that a PC port for this was on it's way to PC months in advance of the initial console release, it never happened. It may not have been a legit article I read seeing that it ain't on PC, anyway it never happened. So yes I can complain if I want too but here's the great deal for you, you don't have to read my complaint, all you need do is simply click on a different comment and reply to someone else thoughts.
@iskaroth: For some of us these singers and movie stars spanned all the way back to our youths, we remember them because they touched some part of our lives if it be through a song or a movie. To deny our feelings for them is for some of us to deny the fondness of our memories. I remember seeing Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in Stars Wars back in 1994 when I was only 6 years old, I only knew them as Princess Leia and Han Solo when I watched the movie with my older brother and sister. The best moment about that time wasn't just seeing them on screen or the movie, it was spending with my siblings; both who aren't around anymore. Those types of memories keep me going, it keeps my spirits up when things get rough.
You have a point to your message which I partly agree with but don't overlook others feelings in process.
