@stylest: Okay, so in your opinion he is overrated.

Opinion =/= Fact

In my opinion, he is a genius. He ties together menu and level transitions, he revamped how a sandbox can be played, he throws in troll moments just to make you say wtf and laugh in a serious situation, and he has been keeping people happy for years. What is so wrong with that, other than it doesn't match your opinion?

Oh, and if I didn't like the music for my legacy I would scrap it too, at the expense of Konami; because you know, **** Konami. His games have always been known for his iconic original scores. But I agree, that money could have been appropriated somewhere else in the game.

I'm guessing the majority of the people bitching about graphics haven't played a Fallout game before.

@mesome713: Sadly, you're right. Gone are the days of good games from Konami. They'll make their money off of mobile because there are zombies out there that eat it up.

@mesome713: No, but we line the stockholder pockets. We create revenue for the company. They create a big enough PR shit storm and the shit will hit the fan. Look at MS's X1 launch and all that backlash. Look at Ubisoft's E3 this year, they pretty much came out saying sorry we suck, try to like us again. Konami is a sinking ship in my eyes. Focus on mobile, psshh.

And I'm not some entitled gamer. They don't owe me shit. I'm just a gamer.

@mesome713: Hahahaha so you seriously think that the company that is shifting their focus to mobile is the one that "had to piece together what they had", while Kojima just wastes money?

If you think that this game development was a waste of money for Konami, I'm sorry, but you have a loose screw. They are about to lose the majority of their fan base by all of their new corporate tactics. Focusing on mobile. That should be enough said. They are going for a money grab. That being said, you really think it was Kojima's fault the game was cut short? Konami probably just wanted that shit out the door, just like him, for the reason you said, he was siphoning money like crazy. But at least that money was going to great franchise and great developer who had new and innovative ideas, not some crap mobile bs. This was the best thing that Konami had going for them, and they know it. Why would they even mention plans of another MGS without Kojima? I can tell you one thing... It won't be the same.

But what do I know, I'm just some guy on the internet.

@dlCHIEF58@Mogan: Yeah, because games have never cost more than they do now and haven't come down in price at all. So lets just continue to follow the trend that they want us to follow, they will give us a good deal. Yeah.

@alaannn: If you really think the servers will be empty by Christmas, you're living in a delusion. As much as I hate the sales pitch and the scam myself, I know it will sell like hotcakes and might even break a record or two.

@sargentpsgamer: I'll agree with that.

I feel like it was rushed a little bit. If he would have applied more of MGS3's dynamic into the game (eating and getting sick) with more animals around and maybe some more dense areas it would be spot on, imo.

And I feel as thought he meant for MGS 4 to be his last work. Almost as though Konami forced him to spit out another one or something.
