I don't own the game yet, but hope to get it soon.

I heard the game lacks in story though, according to an article I read, otherwise gameplay, loot collecting, co-op, and online play are fun.

Disagree, H3 is probably the best Halo game.

Agreed^ Halo 3's single player was pretty awesome, although I never got a chance to finish Halo 4's campaign...maybe some day.

Also loved the multi-player ranking system in halo 3, they should return to that in Halo 5.

Particularly in fps games, I don't remember using sprint in 6th gen consoles when I had the original xbox or ps2.

Even some games in last gen's consoles, such as halo 3 didn't even have sprint.

Which game even started using the sprint button and when was it introduced? I'd imagine it was one of the cod games.

And do you guys think sprinting in video games is really necessary in games today?

Halo 3, I thought it had the best campaign out of all the other halo's. The last mission escaping halo on the warthog :)

It also had the best online community when I used to play back in the day. The online ranking system was also better implemented than the more recent halo games.

I didn't get a chance to play campaign for Halo 4 though. :(

I don't own either, but I do own both last-gen consoles and I've done my research on this gen's consoles.

I personally would buy the xbox one because of it's better exclusives, including halo and titanfall, and better online community.

Also from my experience with last gen consoles, the xbox was always more of an entertainment system with all the media apps, like youtube, netflix, hulu, espn, twitch, and more, while playstation had less of these apps (I'm not sure if ps4 has more variety of apps now). In games, I think xbox always had more people with mics and actually talk in game vs playstation.

I prefer western rpg's, but the occasional japanese rpg is fun to play too.

I think japanese rpg's usually have better stories, but their gameplay sometimes gets repetitive, especially turn-based j-rpg's.

Western rpg's, on the other hand, are funner to play, i.e. more customization (character creation, choosing classes, etc) and funner gameplay mechanics.

I can't think of any j-rpg's that have character creation, you always have to play with the characters the developers made.

@munawar3:

Kojima has not announced a release date yet, but it's estimated to release in late 2015. Sometimes major games this big will have postponed release dates after it has been announced because developers want everything to be right before they release it.

Usually when games have release dates of Dec. 31, the actual release date isn't confirmed yet. And games usually come out on tuesdays anyways.
