As I was looking to focus on a certain type of game or system to collect games for, I decided to collect games that are really cheap, and there arnt many rare games on the system. The origional big black XBOX. I purchased my xbox about 2-3 years ago along with a bunch of games aprox 40 games. I also not only want to collect all 950 games, but i want to playthrough them as well. I plan on getting just a couple games a month, or when I beat one ill move on to the next. The first game I am playing is

SSX Tricky.....I played this as a kid on teh ps2, and I use to really enjoy it.....So far Im so pissed off at this game, I dont know what it is if its the controls or something else, but I cannot get by the second trick stage. Seriously ive been trying to get through this for 2hours, and it has gotten to me. Again, I use to like the game, but I dont know whats happening thsi time. As far as xbox purchases goes...i need somewhere to start between all 950??...how about aphabetically.

After working a long day yesterday, travelling to Beantown for a few basketball games, I got to relax today. I did the homework i needed to do in the morning, and then I had fun the rest of the day. I played a little Unreal Tournament III going after a few achievments, and I played some Little Big Planet. I have about half of the levels aced (no deaths). I also bought the new NHL 3on 3 arcade game yesterday. Ive been playing it online, the game is fun, but it is lacking substance. I will have a video review up in a week on a game called Greatest heavyweights. Sega Genesis. The first in a series of reviews on here and youtube. I still have to play through the game im about 70% done.

got my capture card today but i accidently got teh wrong cables for it i have to order those so i cant do high quality vids for a few weeks

Well i recieved the sega saturn and games in today. It appears that a 4 year old packaged it in teh box. Most of the game casses are completly shattered, not a big deal. At first the system was broken as well. I had to open the system and make a few adjustment and now it finally works. The bad news is it only works when I position it upside down. I applied for a partial refund. All of the games work except for one, virtua fighter 2. Who knows how long the system will last whiel being upside down. The games I played are good for the most part ( itested them all quickly). The best so far are...Robo Pit (you get to build yoru robot from scratch and fight battles)...nhl 97 (good hockey game)...daytona usa wasnt too bad...nights into dreams is great...and virtua cop is great. I wish virtua fighter two worked but i can get a copy for only a dollar onlien anyway. Thanks to my two sisters accepting my cofounder union invites, i only need two more people to accept in order to get the union started. It is called The Hi score Union, and I wanted to create a place where people can post their gaming accomplishments, and inspire competition between other gamespot members. I am big in to retro games, but teh union will involve all games. Once the union gets started I will send invites out to all my friends. Or if you want to be a cofounder please let me know I need 2 more.

lets start off with some things i got over the last 2 days....

first off a got a video capture card to film games with my tv straight to my computer..and all the other accsearies i needed to get it to work...overall it was very cheap for everything about 30 bucks not too bad...I also got this on ebay

the thing that got me to buy it was it was cheaper than all teh other auctions plus it came with a 50$ extra memory cartridge add-on....100 bucks for everything...got the capture card to film stuff from teh sega big three...genesis, saturn, and dreamcast

I started Virtua Fighter 5 today on the 360...so far I have only played quest mode and messed around with charecter creation, but so far i havent lost a fight, im sitting on a 50-0 record, but the game has been really easy so far. Despite this it is still enjoyable because it is a simple fighting game, and I always have trouble with complex fighters. Early score 7.5.

I am up to 66% done mission mode on Indy 500 Legends, and I played some Unreal Tournament III online. Still can't believe im owning everyone...maybe ive been playing all those annoying 10 year old kids.

today i decided to play unreal tournament III for the day on the 360...I while back I played it on the ps3, and thought it was only an average game. I am liking it a little more on the xbox, since i now have an hd tv, and I am owning people in matches. I dont know where my unreal tournament skills have come from, maybe playign the ps3 version? I am on chapter 2 of the single player, and I played some multiplayer games. I am also up to 54% done mission mode on Indy 500 legends, and the other day I beat Game #2 of 2009.........Dragon Ball Origins (DS)

Two games I played today are gears of war and Indianapolis 500 Legends for the Wii....yes I know me playing a wii game. Gears of War is good, I have only played online and it took me a long while to get use to the game. A lot of people still play which is good. My early score based on multiplayer only is 9.0. Indianapolis 500 Legends is A Wii game geared towards indy 500 history buffs. The game follows a 10 year span during the height of the race from 1961-1971. Since I am interested in auto racing history, the game is good. As a plain racer though the game is fairly boring and simple, and is not for everyone. I am currently 50% done mission mode in only 3 hours of play, and there isnt much else to do besides mission mode. Early score 6.5. Have to work all day tomorrow after my classes.

since i posted a blog.....I just moved back into my dorm for the second semester of the year, and classes start on Tuesday. Couldn't really do much today because we got a lot of snow here, so I stayed around and watched some football....Steelers winning as we speak. Over the past few days I have been playign a lot of NHL 08 on the 360 and Blitz The League II on the PS3. Both games are really fun, and Blitz is true to its roots and is a plain ole fun game that I am loving. NHL 08 is providing a nice change of pace as its been about 2 years since Ive played an nhl game. No purchases planned for the rest of the month, I am however waiting on Burnout Revenge to come from goozex.com, and I will be trading Turok and Dragon Quest Rocket Slime in for some new games. With Draon Quest I am trading it for Contra 4 on the ds. Fallout 3 has taken a little bit of a backseat role, as I was forced to start over because i mismanged all of my inventory, and my second game is going a lot better. I am currently in Megaton. Im not a big RPG person, so Fallout 3 will take me awhile. I don't know what my problem is, I really want to play and complete some rpg's, but I have a really hard time getting into them.
