I have this board too. Runs great with my E8400 and 8800 GTS SLI ,no problem with ram.I RMA it once because I tried to Oc my E8400 to 3800 mhz and the bord died. Maybe it was a PSU issue ,I have only a 600W psu.You should get this board ONLY if you need SLI and you don't have enough to buy a 780i or the EVGA 750i FTW.yetiHUNTER001

so not very future proof then?

need to buy a new pc as my last one was really old and i didn't bother getting it fixed.I was looking at this one from dinopc

http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/configurePrd.asp?idproduct=389&qty=1

its at £699 but once i remove blu-ray drive and hardrive and other hardware i have already got it come to around £530. Is it a good price? it has a good processor, however i know that the i7 are here. i wont really need a great graphics card as i have a ps3 and an xbox, the only thing I'm not sure about is the mobo its quite good for my needs but it won't do sli/crossfire so not very future proof on the other hand it will take up to 16GB of ram for the future I'm not that good with PCs and would appreciate your advice.

Thanks
