- 2 major enemies of electronic device, especially CPU based devices like PS3: dust and heat (well there's water, but that's common sense). To battle this place your PS3 in an open space if you can, prefer area with circulated air. Make sure there is nothing blocking the PS3 air hole (where the fan blow the air out). For the dust just keep your PS3 clean, buy a air can or something, the type they used for laptop.
- Stable electrical power: believe it or not, unstable power can be seriously dangerous for you PS3 (or any electronic device that is). A surge protector is a good choice if you really care about the life of your device.
- Do not expose your PS3 to direct sunlight, or anything similar.
- Smoke can be really bad: avoid it if you can.
- Do not let your wires tangled, keep them straight. Remember wires is a part of your console too. Make sure it's not expose to heat or anything extreme. Tangled wires does effect the current and the circuit inside.
- Treat your sockets and connector with care (place like where you plug stuff in, your usb socket and stuff). Be gentle when plug and unplug stuff.
- READ THE MANUALS.
Well that's kinda extreme. But with a little common sense you should be fine really: (don't wash your Ps3, no kids or lemming without supervisor...). Usually it's some kind of unforseen incidents that render your machine obsolete. So good luck :D
Too bad LittleBigPlanet totally stole the show from Home, IN A GOOD WAY!!!
Both is awesome tho.
It's time for you to step back and laugh at them, cause trust me, they are the one that is "pissed off" right now :D :D
:P
I'm sure there are people that prefer to play games the traditional way.
So I don't think you would be required to enter Home to play games online or to watch trailer etc...
They will try to push Home as the primary option though, making it where you WANT to be, not where you NEED to be. Like you see they just add a home Icon on your bar.
I think they could make it so Home is the new interface, So it's like your starting log in location will be your private space (your personal Home)... something like that.
Rather then making it free, I believe Microsoft may release a feature similar to this one.project343
...Using no Hard Drive.
Don't worry, Microsoft is gonna think up something to counter that....
...with no hard drive needed.
[QUOTE="magus-21"]Come on, this is like hyping RoboBlitz. It should be a downloadable arcade game, based on what they've shown.BibbidyYou know, they cow hype machine has been so out of control lately that I can't even be bothered to care enough about Little Big Planet to even look at it.
Typical Lemmings.
