I only hope Nintendo ports Zelda over to X1, PS4, and PC when the NX fails.

How about an update that adds harsher punishments for rage quitters? Swear to god, there's nothing more annoying than entering a match on a losing team with 30 seconds left on the clock.

Yeah, all of those mods would be pretty nice to have in the remaster. But I'd also like to see a VR component. Bethesda actually has a legitimate reason to work on a VR feature as well - Neo and PSVR should both be on the market by the time the game is released, or shortly thereafter. Scorpio will follow in the next year sometime, likely with native Rift support. And it would provide a whole lot more incentive to PC users to pick up a Vive or Rift.

It would be the first real AAA title to hit VR apart from flight or driving sims.

Well, AMD stated before its release that this card would be going after mainstream market segments. It looks like this will become the new MOBA standard card, at least until the GTX 1060 is released. I'd like to see an updated review at some point with benchmarks comparing the 1060 to the 480. I think that's the real contender for this card.

"...that can be played for long periods, carries value, and is affordable. We want parents to feel at ease."

I really, really hope this isn't going to be another 3D gimmick. In the context of VR gaming (which is what the above quote referred to), this sounds like a polarized 3D system to me.

If they're worried about copy-cats and imitators, then they don't own the patents that the NX is going to rely on for it's "new way to play", or even have patent exclusivity contracts for that matter. And if they're not comfortable revealing the tech 9 months prior to its launch, then it sounds like Sony and MS will have no difficulty in reverse engineering it.

@XxParasite: Selling consoles is pretty important if you're a console maker. Why don't you take a look at Nintendo's 2008-2015 corporate earnings before you try to dispute the importance of moving large volumes of product with a healthy profit margin?

@XxParasite: In case you've been living under a rock for the last 3 console generations, the "winning" console is the one that sells the most units, not makes the most money. Sony has likely won this generation with the PS4 because it's selling twice as fast as the X1, the Wii won the last generation because it sold over 100 million units, the PS2 the generation before that, and so on.

BTW, the X1 and PS4 started selling for profit in 1st quarter 2014.

I think it would have been cooler if the dev team used random NPCs as cameos throughout the main game. Superimposing they're headshots on standard NPCs in Novigrad, Skellige, and elsewhere.

Even if the NX is the best system Nintendo ever made, it still faces a 70+ million sales deficit against X1 and PS4. Neo and Scorpio sales will still be counted in the same sales figures as the originals since it's the same platform, which means Nintendo automatically loses this next gen sales battle before it even begins.

Once the realization sets in that only half of current Wii U owners (6 million) will purchase the console in the first year, Nintendo execs may see the light at the end of the tunnel and transition their business into what it should have done after the Wii - Turn Nintendo into a software-ONLY company. It's not rocket science Nintendo. Your hardware sucks, your games are great. No hardware manufacturing costs and no hardware oriented employees = more net income. More net income = more money to invest in dev teams for PS4, X1, PC, and mobile (systems that actually sell).
