@Juub1990: what are you talking about? rigs has the same metascore as quantum break, do you even read the things you post?
trollhunter2's forum posts
@Juub1990: the ps4 has been getting more exclusive games than xbox this year. Japanese exclusives count as well xbox had quantum, break, gears and forza. Ps4 had u4, ratchet and clank, the mlb, dragon quest, abzu, alienation, VR games(thumper) etc. I also don't understand why lems always talk about games in Q3 or Q4 of each year, not earlier. Apparently only the holidays count for having games, screw the rest of the year
@phbz: that is like saying killzone would be automatically better than halo, if it wasn't first party. Stop it already, qb and u4 aren't close to the same level. Not in storytelling, voice acting, set pieces, level design, animations, general gameplay movement, hand to hand combat, graphics, enemy encounters etc. U4 would still be of higher quality, no matter if third party or first. Dude you might as well compare killzone and halo, while you're at it. It lacks basic hip fire mechanics for christ sake.
We can all agree that MS has been doing the right things lately..... Sony on the other hand had some questionable decisions(basically encouraged the people to buy an xbox one s, due to stupid lack of uhd blu-ray player)
The game doesnt even have simple hip fire for christ sake. The time mechanics is OP for its own good in the campagne combat. You will literally spam the time mechanic for most. Enemie A.I isnt something to write home either. Invisible walls during the campange I noticed as well, here he can use his powers to open doors, but at another time he "conveniently" can't for some reason. Most of the time mechanics use boils down to freeze enemies, for some basic platforming, stopping pathways from closing or slowing down things. If people want "unique" they should watch/play some portal gameplay, how it uses the physics warp mechanic and goes absolutely crazy with it. Sorry remedy but you can come up with something better than using such awesome powers to slow down closing doors, rewind events for some basic platformng on wreckage.
@trollhunter2: Have you played QB? I respect your opinion but the gunplay in U4 Imo it's just ok.

the combat/gunplay in QB doesn't come close to uncharted. Even in playstyles itself, U4 allows for more playstyle due to the open environment. QB is as basic as it gets. the "unique" time mechanics doesnt actually add unique things to the actual gameplay. What is the time mechanic used for? Mediocre platforming sections(worst sections of the game) and third person shooting segments. How the enemies in U4 flank, use the environment, or nimble movement of the enemies, fight animations and hand to hand combat animation fluidity itself are well above anything in QB, its not even up for debate. I don't understand the constant justifying of making QB better than it actually is, then downplay U4 in comparison, I really don't get it. QB is an ok game, that's it. If QB wasn't so associated with Xbox, I doubt that so many fanbyos would care about the game if it flops
Nope not at all. Uncharted has better AI, better gunplay, better movement during gunplay.
It's not even close. Quantum break is even worse than alan wake and max payne
I love how people bring up the time mechanic to prove that QB has "good" gameplay, when the mechanic is ery basic/mundane implented in actual gameplay. If you want unique implented mechanics in games, play portal or something. You have the time mechanics, but use it in the most basic way in the actual game
@i_p_daily: Blah blah
PlayStation has a global presence. Xbox is only relevant in a few markets. The end.
Thanks, your "opinions" have been duly noted.
its fact that playstation has a more global presence( by global in marketing, people aactually mean europe, japan, asia, NA btw) than xbox. this isn't for Debate. Xbox dominant countries are NA, UK etc
