Makers of Banjo Kazooie was false marketing in the first. Most of the people from Playtonic weren't actual game designer on banjo/conker etc.

Gravity Rush 2: while not really worse, they didn't change the gameplay much from the first. It lacks innovation, and wasn't full of surprises like the first game. Mind you, still a decent to good game, but it's sad that they didn't build on the gravity mechanic for actual puzzles. It also didn't fix some of the shortcomings of the first.

Super Mario Odyssey could top it, seriously.

I always liked 3D Mario more than 3D Zelda by default, being a huge platformer fan. Botw is my gotg, but if any game could top it, it's Super Mario Odyssey. True sequel to Super Mario 64

@ProtossRushX: We can't blame Phil Spencer (yet). Don Mattrick literally damaged xbox's entire first party ecosystem. Cutting funds to first party in favor of pouring money into kinect software. It would take at least years (a decade? To stabilise things in the first party segment. It took sony years to build first party studios , after the huge struggle during 2006-2010, but it finally paid off in the end

Nah I disagree.

Hated Twisted Metal, loved God of War.

I agree that he hasn't made compelling games in more than a decade now
